Today's finds:

Walt Disney's Fantasia soundtrack (Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Stokowski, original recording)

Kansas - Leftoverture (original pressing)

Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2nd pressing, gold vinyl, /750?)

The Wonder Years - Won't Be Pathetic Forever (2nd pressing, pink vinyl, /500)

Is the P!ATD repress /750 or /1150? Or is it something completely different and I'm behind the times?

So my aunt from London came up to Manchester for New Years in a few days, and to see us all for Christmas and all, and she gave me a Christmas present.

I wasn't expecting anything, but I opened it up to find she had bought me Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band - Shiny Beast  on vinyl.

My aunt has the best taste in music.

Yo Gabba Gabba - Super Music Friends Show

Bjork - Debut

of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?

The more I look at the Bjork LP, the more positive I am it's a boot. Probably going to end up returining it since I'd rather just have my 27 bucks back. Damn you, Urban Outfitters...

Dude that Mogwai!

The swans stuff definitely wasn't cheap, but it all was totally worth it. Especially since all of it is so damn close to mint. The dude selling them had an OG copy of filth, but I didn't win that one. I have that reissue bootleg or whatever it is and it sounds good. I also see it popping up in some stores too, so you should get a copy when you get a chance.

I definitely need to pick that up. Thanks for the reminder. Filth is a great album. My amount of Swans is significantly lacking. I only have My Father and Seer.

That Mogwai 10" was one of my bigger purchases this year. So glad to have it though. I ended up getting a partial refund because the guy selling it is in the hospital and can't ship right now. Haha, I would have been understanding but i'll take the money too.

The guy at the post office sees me coming and going with records every once in a while. He gave me his phone number, told me he was moving out of town, and said he'd make me some deals if he had anything I wanted.

He wasn't quite ready to sell me The Rationals - S/T, Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street, or his original first presses of the first two Stooges albums.

But in addition to his hospitality and all around coolness, he did make me some sweet deals on:

Thin Lizzy - Fighting

Devo - Are We Not Men?

Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True

T Rex - Electric Warrior

Iggy Pop - The Idiot

Queen - S/T

Queen - II

and i forget what else.  but it was fun anyway.

Been going crazy lately with the amount of christmas money I have had.

The Halo Benders - Don't Touch My Bikini 7"

Mogwai - Les Revenants 10"

Zonotope - MAINFRAME'S Tetralogy cassette

I'm jelly on the Mogwai 10". We should be best friends.

Just reserved a rare Bombay Bicycle Club 7" EP off a lovely girl off Discogs, something I really can't afford to miss out on. Shame I currently don't actually have the money to pay for it, have to wait until further on into the month to pay her.

Anyone else get that amazing feeling when you finally find a rare record, and you know, ask someone to reserve it? Like, "holy fuck, hold that for me and I'll pay you eventually, cause, I WANT IT"...
