Neanderthal
Everything after that was a pretty radical shift in style from the 1st album, but I think that was because there were so many DEP-ripoff bands by that point, that they wanted to tread some different ground and avoid getting lumped-in with the imitators. I appreciate when bands do that. I know that Altar of Plagues was feeling that same way for their last album. Obviously not a DEP ripoff, but you get the point. codeine
davepriz
from what i remember they changed their style because fans did not like the vocals and they wanted something that was more "fun" to play live

CaptainHerbalLife
This new Baptists album is deemed to come out blazing. I haven't listened to Bushcraft yet but those two tracks off Bloodmines prompted me to do my homework.

Bushcraft was definitely a surprise record when it came out, for me.

I haven't listened to Bushcraft yet but those two tracks off Bloodmines prompted me to do my homework. Bushcraft and their Self Titled 7" are both beasts. I'd recommend both of them, but I think the 7" is a little better overall

drds89
Drummer is very tight, no doubt. Some tracks reminds me of Turncrantz style; others, Danny Carey. The thrash /blast stuff - dude is superlative. Hope he can keep it balanced in with the mix.

mcpherson123
This sounds awesome. I didn't quite hear Brian's bass in there on first listen. Gonna have to listen a few times.

davepriz
Looks like Brian just recorded with them and will be doing auxilerly work at available shows but is not considered a core member. That's dissapointing to say the least but I'm still considering a 6hr drive for the show this Thursday.
Neanderthal
I'm definitely sad that Brian isn't a core member, but the fact he's mentioned and contributed is still great. Has he ever done any projects with Aaron Turner aside from Mamiffer contributions?
