  1. Bull Moose pre-order: http://www.bullmoose.com/p/20856893/ryan-adams-willow-lane-b-w-yes-or-run-red-hot-blues
  2. Deluxe LP is back in stock, but Josh's social media accounts say it's "moving fast".
  3. Holy sh*t, thank you! This is probably my 3rd favorite Jurado album (behind Where Shall You Take Me? and Maraqopa). How did you hear/find out about this?
  4. Pre-ordered the deluxe vinyl without hesitation, Josh is my favorite living songwriter. First song is great, I laughed out loud at the "Jesus hates your high school dances" line and the references to "Mary Jane's Last Dance", it reminds me of "To the Dogs or Whoever" from Historical Conquests.
  5. Magnolia Electric Co. - Trials & Errors Van Morrison - It's Too Late To Stop Now Bob Dylan - Bootleg Series Vol. 5: The Rolling Thunder Revue Counting Crows - Across a Wire: Live in New York City Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Hammersmith Odeon, London '75 Neko Case - Live From Austin, TX (Austin City Limits) Phosphorescent - Live At the Music Hall
  6. This is a great album, and one I would strongly consider buying on vinyl, however the standard version of this is a 2xLP at 33 RPM (not 45 RPM), which doesn't make any sense to me for 11 songs totaling 43:55. So is there actually a single LP version of this album? Discogs seems to think the indie store exclusive is, but I'm not sure that's accurate. Anyone know?
  7. On a similar topic, where's the best place to get MFSL/MoFi/Mobile Fidelity stuff (specifically Bob Dylan) shipped to the US?
  8. What do "keeping it cheapish" and "way more money than I would care to spend" mean? In other words, what's your budget?
  9. See list of recommended equipment in this post: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/88504-beginner’s-guide-to-turntables-hi–fi-read-1st-page-before-posting-new-threads-basic-questions/#entry1512901 The post is a couple years old, so the prices may no longer be accurate, but it's a good place to start.
  10. Why doesn't ol' bearchuck post in the forums here anymore? He was a wealth of knowledge.
  11. The Avalanche was never pressed either, which is a damn shame.
  12. The search function is your friend: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/112940-po-leon-bridges-coming-home/
  13. A new song (can't remember the name at the moment) on the A side and an alternate version of "Family" on the B side. I haven't actually listened to it yet.
  14. First single: More details about the song & album here: http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/2015/06/17/415013695/song-premiere-craig-finn-newmyers-roof
  15. Was really hoping this might mean a repress of Molina and Johnson, but no such luck.
  16. Album is streaming here: http://www.npr.org/2015/06/14/413460380/first-listen-bully-feels-like
  17. You might find this thread from a few months ago useful: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/109672-best-turntable-1000-1500/
  18. All things being equal (price, condition, etc.), which of the two vintage receivers in the thread title would you choose for use in a phono-only, two channel system used primarily with headphones? Which has the better phono stage?
  19. Did you create an account or just trying to place an order as a guest/anonymous?
  20. Yeah, but I'd rather they use that than a bubble mailer.
