Merch Connection sent out an email today, which actually says mid-August. I'm keeping my expectations low and thinking I'll have it in hand come September. Some people back in the day won the TPs for the 7"s on eBay and we were still in the dark hoping Geoff would have his stuff submitted. It's a cool 12" comp that I'm glad finally saw the light of day. It might be cool for some people but there's no reason for me to get a TP when the original is just a white jacket and black 12" record.

My Spring/300 came today and it sounds reallllllly good. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Only thing that could have been improved was making the jacket a gatefold.

I wouldn't assume it'll be black. They're still signed to Glassnote and Love is Dead never had a black pressing, only blue and clear. Another note about saving on shipping/cost in general, Amazon had a ton of copies of Love is Dead on blue vinyl available for $14. Vinyl demand is higher now but time will tell.

I ordered a record from Manhead recently and had to pay $13 for priority shipping. It took over 3 weeks to get delivered and they wouldn't refund the shipping cost. It should have been 3 days max.

VC has an auto correct to get rid of the word Vinyl - s but they used that every single time. "as mentioned before via our social media channels the shipping of some Devil Wears Prada records is delayed, mainly Splatter and silver vinyl. All splatter vinyl and the Fried Egg version are pressed with a new machine which takes longer than expected. This delayed the complete pressing. We called the press plant again today and agreed that the next delivery would be sent to us on Monday. If everything works as planed, we will get the missing Clear/Green Splatter, Clear/Purple Splatter and Silver vinyl. The remaining vinyl will be shipped within the next 6 weeks to our office. We will ship everything as fast as possible. Please be patient! Sorry again for the delay... this is beyond our control. Dealing with vinyl press plants is not easy these days... they are all overbooked and we still have covid. Don't worry the production issues does not affect the vinyl quality... expect great vinyl! Splatter and fried egg will have 180gr vinyl while smoke and full folours will have 140gr vinyl. They all have a great qualitiy and sound. Please don't be $30 for a single LP tomorrow...and hopefully Rise cuts the bundle variant BS like they did with DGD's Afterburner.

I read it was because of a mask mandate, or something related, but with 63% of NH adults having at least 1 shot of the vaccine, I didn't buy that. Union busting makes a lot more sense. That's a real shame.
