  1. Came for the Turnover, stayed for the $8.00 Spitalfield LPs. Such a great deal. PS: I don't know what changed in the Turnover camp between Magnolia (which I didn't care for at all) and this session, but they seriously upped their game. "I Would Hate You If I Could" and the track released today are by far their best work.
  2. No sleepy eyes or bony knees, but I think the lyrics on this are actually a step backwards from the previous releases.
  3. I'm more interested in the process you had to go through to buy/fix equipment to make these than I could ever be in a FFTL record. Still, the idea of getting one-offs of my and my friends' old bands could be cool.
  4. Curious to see what they'll do for Chicago then. Citizen is on Riot Fest, and I doubt HC would play two years in a row (though I wouldn't complain). Maybe they'll do a sweet aftershow or something.
  5. Very excited about this, and the new song sounds great. I'd be supremely bummed if this is it for them.
  6. What is DMM and why is it bad? Also, Xtra Mile has more info and tracklists for the CD release. I'm excited to hear those alternate takes.
  7. Oh yes. This is the best news. Will buy everything, because I can't own enough copies of The Power of Failing.
  8. I didn't even think to ask for a tour copy yesterday and now I'm kicking myself. The baby blue does look nice though.
  9. Amazon sent me clear. Might 180 gram, or at least close to it. The packaging is really nice too - gatefold and a lyric sheet, and a nice poly-lined sleeve. I'm excited to spin this before my show tonight.
  10. Yeah, price is a bummer, but they said in the description that the album will be cheaper later. I assume/hope that includes vinyl. I'm just trying to decide if I should buy one of the cool rewards for my girlfriend. Guster is her favorite band, and she'd love all of this stuff. Edit: I'll just add my hopes for a repressing of Ganging Up On the Sun and pressings of the other albums that have never seen a vinyl release here too.
  11. I'll have my copy from Amazon when I get home from work, so I can report back.
  12. Sherwood and Waking Ashland would have been such a great show. I loved WA, and while We Shot The Moon has some good stuff, only a couple songs really measure up to the WA catalog for me.
  13. IndieGoGo to press Sherwood's debut album, Sing, But Keep Going. This is a wonderful record. Hopefully this does well and they do the other two full-lengths too.
  14. I have $100 in Amazon gift card money and I want to spend it on these. But since I can't... decisions.
  15. Guster. Most of those would be first pressings, but even the ones that have been pressed are hard to find, and there could be some great color combinations with the album art. Also, seconding the Promise Ring.
  16. 1000 times yes. Wide Eyed is a top five album for me, and the other two are great as well.
  17. Splatter by itself. Not sure why only the bundles showed up on the main Infinite Merch page.
  18. Most importantly, we're getting something from The Felix Culpa.
  19. I lurked that board like crazy but I don't think I ever posted or even made an account.
  20. I just walked into a used book/record store while wearing my Against Me New Wave shirt and saw a copy of New Wave on yellow for $45. Impulse bought that, so hopefully it turns out well.
  21. Links in the OP to current pressings of the back catalog wouldn't be a bad idea either.
  22. Maybe it's because I'm from the same area as these guys, but I was not surprised at all that these went so quickly.
  23. If they're doing shows, I'll fly anywhere in the US to see them. I've basically had a blank check made out to "Mineral reunion" ever since I first heard The Power of Failing.
