Someone flipping a record doesn't get me all worked up.  It's inevitable and something we all have to deal with in this hobby (and I'm guessing most hobbies that involve limited editions and what not).

It does annoy me when people try and do it here and even more so when the seller tries to come off as a nice guy by 'trying to cut us a deal since he's eliminating the middle man (eBay)'.  If he wants to drop $2500 and try to make a profit, whatever.  I can't do anything about it besides not support it, but keep that shit away from here and stop pretending like you're doing us a 'favor'.

When I was there a few years ago, I picked up 25+ records at Academy Records in Brooklyn.  That was the only shop I made it to, but I think I was there for a few hours browsing.  Can't really recommend any bars or anything because I just stopped in places that looked cool and didn't really look at names.

I'm getting a sketch-y/watercolor tattoo of the Saturn V rocket (the rocket that took the astronauts to space/the moon for the Apollo missions in the 60s/70s) on my left arm.  I grew up obsessed with outer space and that rocket was my absolute favorite.  I went to Space Camp twice when I was 9 & 10 so I've always wanted a tattoo that immortalizes my childhood.

According to that list looks like you bought the "MEGA TEST PRESS COLLECTION" for $2,500.00 and now you are willing to sell piece by piece for a total of $5,995.00
    Thanks for being so nice

It's upsetting it's been over 3 weeks since my order was placed and still no sign of it.

Has anyone here listened to Tabs Out?  It's a cassette podcast.  The episode I listened to was focused on experimental electronic, noise and ambient material.  I kind of got the impression that's primarily what they feature all the time.  I liked one artist so much I bought the tape immediately and there were two or three I'm going to check out in the next few days.  Definitely worth listening to if those genres interest you : http://www.tabsout.com/

I've sold a large chunk of my video game collection, but Chrono Trigger will be the only cartridge I will never get rid of.

I thought Jack White was a terrible ambassador.  His stance on vinyl immigration was not in line with the peoples and he did not represent himself well at the vinyl UN when he pressed his speech on a 4 1/2 inch 78 that exploded after listening.  This year we vote a true American and vinyl patriot for ambassador.  Vote Neil Young for 2014 ambassador.  #youngforambassadorofvinylsrecordstoredaytwothousandandfourteen

Little late to this, but I like this thread idea.  We can reminisce about sending record labels money orders or well concealed cash in exchange for LPs because ordering online didn't really exist yet.

I gotcha.  I've definitely lived off of beans and rice before, it does get a little monotonous.  Pasta is easy and fairly quick.  I work long shifts and don't really have time to cook during my week, so I usually make a bunch of food for the week on one of my days off.  It takes me a few hours that one day, but then I don't have to worry about doing it when I'm busy.  Maybe that would work for you?

Slow cookers are pretty cheap by the way.  You can get a small one of Amazon for $20 or less.  I think I have a 5 quart that was about $30.  That and a blender and you're golden!

Since you're on a time crunch, sandwiches and wraps might be a good option.  Good luck!

Veggie Grill is awesome!  They just opened up a third one here.

There were some positive mentions of National Audio Company in the Cassette Collective thread.  I browsed the site and they look like a nice one stop shop, seems like they do the j-cards and mastering and what not.  Prices seemed to be under $2/cassette for a batch of 100.  Hope that helps.

This completely.  Separate the artist from the art.

Edit : Add Descendents to Jase's list and you're good to go for pop punk.

What kind of pressing info do you need?  Buy it because you're interest in the music, not because of the color or how many were made.
