^ I let my dog follow me around my apartment, but that's the one time where I put a stop to it. I can watch him poop, he can't watch me poop.

I bet that guy has plenty of LP mailers to sleep under!

My friends and I use to regularly watch Legends of the Hidden Temple after we left the bar. We dressed up as contestants for Halloween too. It was a blast.
I have the Adventures of Pete and Pete on my computer, but I would love to watch Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude.

I think it's fun. People worry too much about the color of their records.

radiatorhums got a reaction from deafening in What books are you reading?
I finished Doomed. It still doesn't touch any of Palahniuk's older work, but I think I enjoyed it the most out of his post-Rant work.

I'm still interested in the Rant sequel, but less so considering his output lately. I'm cautiously optimistic about it.
I'm not sure what I'm going to read next, I have no shortage of books right now. I'm thinking Bukowski's Factotum.

I'm in for the standard edition. No interest in a picture disc or spending an extra 11$ to have it.

radiatorhums reacted to mcpherson123 in PO: Whores. "Clean" (12" EP)
Yeah, your post did appear to be typed by someone who had been drinking. I see what you mean about how the band's attitude (as may be exemplified by their namesake) possibly could dictate that it attracts an audience of greater callousness but with the internet and all and how any Joe Schmo can gain access to any type of music from any type of scene, its harder now to assess or presciently ascertain the personality type of any given band's fanbase as it may relate to said band's attitude.
That said, I'm the type of person that some people might find offensive in my expression of thought and action but I'm also the type of person who likes to keep conflicts, where not totally necessary, at a minimum. Like if there's legal injustice going on, I'll start some shit but and feel some sense of righteousness for it and apathy toward those I might offend by it but if there's a really insensitive joke to be made about certain topics, I may be the one making it not realizing that I may be offending someone and usually, I'm remorseful for the offense if or when I find out I have offended someone. I am a Whores. fan.
Take all that for what its worth.

After about a month of posting here my "karma" points were regularly in the negative and not just like -2 to -6 or something. I was usually pushed down to about -12 to -24. I don't really know why. I might have been making a stink about presses not quite being 180 gram which I'm sure could be annoying but I've since come to like records quite the opposite of that anyway. I'm really not sure what was going on. Some dude lectured and attempted to belittle me about some aspect of my collecting in a thread that I can't even remember now and was cocksure I was going to be selling off my entire collection in a couple of years because that was the kind of fickle, fair weather collector I was or whatever. It was pretty entertaining. I'm pretty sure the dude is still around but I can't exactly remember the username.

Michael Shannon was awesome anyway, but him being a Deerhoof fan just adds to that! I'm glad we got as much Van Alden screen time as we did in this episode. He's easily my favorite character.
I've liked this season, but to me it feels like just another season. It's been good and I've enjoyed it, but I don't think it'll stand out when it's all said and done. The story arc with Eli's kid (whose name I can't remember right now) was the most interesting to me, but everything else kind of seems like business as usual.

Stuff like this needs to be done more often. Reminds me of buying records in the early 90's.

If you make an appointment with the folks at the Apple store you can be in and out really quickly too, my ex-girlfriend has issues with her phone a few times and I think it took under 20 minutes each time.

I wouldn't recommend going with Snuff next (and honestly have trouble recommending it or anything written afterwards in general). I'd say check out Rant (my favorite) or Survivor. As a whole, I'd say his work from Fight Club to Rant are his strongest, seems like he started phoning it in afterward. I did enjoy both of his non-fiction works as well, although the one about Portland might be hard to get into if you haven't spent a little time there.

Glad I was able to fit tonight's episode in before work. The party scene was really uncomfortable, even by this shows standards. The ending surprised me a bit, only because Kenny's plans going well is so rare (which we witnessed earlier in the episode). Maria's boobs cracked me up, they're ridiculous! I'm glad this show is going out on a high note, I'm really looking forward to next week.

radiatorhums got a reaction from jtcohenour in SONS OF ANARCHY Season 6 Thread **Spoilers**
Based on the song selections the show makes, only a bad hard rock cover of it would fit.
