  1. Exactly. Not much difference between using one's personal funds to make retail purchases and illegal arson of religious organization property!
  2. He give so little of a shit that it infuriates him and eats away at his very innards that some of us would be so naive as to think he actually gives a shit, so he continually monitors the board to make sure no one has mistakenly pointed out that perhaps he does give a shit, all the quicker to strike back and reiterate that he clearly could not give less of a shit.
  3. I noticed it on a random VHS or Beta release, but this is the seller: https://www.discogs.com/seller/RAT303/profile If you go through his item descriptions, he seems to hit up the HMV shop in Leeds buying singles five at a time quite often.
  4. Just the promise of a guitar. Guitar Store Day is wrecking havoc at the guitar factories so they won't actually have the guitar in hand until late '17/early '18.
  5. The "have" bar relates to the number of Discogs users who would like to "have their hands" on that particular release. The "want" bar is the number of users who "want to get rid of it." Pretty straightforward.
  6. Since you seem to need the money soon and don't want to deal with the time it takes individual listings, I'd suggest doing lots on eBay. Break them up by genre or era or something else that makes sense and put them up as auctions. You may get a few bucks less than selling them individually but it will save you countless hours and be much more profitable than a dealer would pay. You may may want to take the earlier suggestion to "cherry pick" the top 10-20 you think would be most valuable and do those individually, then the rest as lots. I think this is a nice middle ground between labor intensive individual listings and loading them off to a shop.
  7. Seriously. What is it about European shops/labels and the mailers they use? It's either those brown paper mailers stuffed with literally the thinnest cardboard known to man or cardboard mailers made out of the thinnest cardboard known to man. I've seen UK mailers fold into accordions under their own weight.
  8. The only logical explanation is your copy of Animals time traveled to the future, had wild vinyl-on-vinyl sex with a copy of The Final Cut, had to get re-wrapped in a hury and in the confusion traveled back to December 2016 with a little reminder of the tryst.
  9. What do you mean barely play? He's so proficient, he's playing it one-handed!!
  10. Looks like they put this up on PledgeMusic as well? http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/wutangclan
  11. Man, time flies! I remember this cute lil' preorder when it was just a newborn. Any day now it'll be a full fledged 11 month old toddler and just around the corner is it's first birthday. Really brings a tear to my eye.
  12. I think he's assuming that for the price, this album must come with a happy ending.
  13. Kind of ironic title since Bernie's the one who got screwed this election cycle...
  14. You know, as I look at the "Free Shipping" banner on the main site (the one with all the jackets lined up) I can't help but think it's Photoshopped since not a single one has a seam split.
  15. It's truly mind blowing that Dennis Hopper was able to "collect over 100 record titles during his lifetime."
  16. Coloring Book by Glassjaw. The stuff of vinyl release clusterf*@k legend...
  17. Also, while we're complaining, what's the hold up with the tape version? Cassette Store Day have all those tape duplication factories backed up?
  18. This would all go down a lot smoother if there weren't literally hundreds of other indie labels releasing literally thousands of other records in this same timeframe and not running into any of these issues.
  19. You don't want to know what I think of Newbury Comics when they're not having a sale.
