I have a first-gen VHS recording of this performance that I taped off the pay-per-view broadcast of the whole thing. And a bootleg CD of it as well. Overall it's not bad when it comes to the sound. I'd be more leery on this bootleg 2xLP though.

Got my signed clear today, complete with mangled corner like everyone else seems to have. At least I have an original in perfect condition. Oh, and they sent me another copy of Heart is a Monster for some reason, and it was even more beat up than FP.

I have the OG press with 7" and fan club paperwork. I paid $50 at a local thrift shop. It's NM too. The deals are out there, just not usually on eBay or discogs.
From what I've read, the Brazilian copies on eBay sound like shit is

That was the first time I saw them.
I think it was after Pinkerton but not long before the Green Album.
    The 2000 Summer Songs period.
I am not crazy about the Green Album, but that was a great time to be a Weezer fan... they were posting mp3s on an almost daily basis of ransom new stuff.
I still have some mp3s of the scrapped 5th album (Queen of Earth is amazing and one of the best Weezer songs ever.)

According to The Pulse Of Radio, FOO FIGHTERS have released a brief studio clip of a new song from the band's upcoming EP, which will feature five new tracks recorded recently in Austin, Texas. A Reddit page dedicated to the band also hinted that the title of the EP may be "2nd Century A.D." The EP will be released through independent record stores on Record Store Day Black Friday (November 27).
The FOO FIGHTERS posted a countdown clock on its site earlier this month counting down to midnight on November 22, along with a series of cryptic photos, some of which were apparently taken at the Hotel St. Cecilia in Austin, Texas.
According to reports, Dave Grohl told the audience during the band's set at the Austin City Limits festival in October, "You know what I did last night... We recorded five fucking new songs in your beautiful city."
Grohl has long acknowledged Austin as one of his favorite places, and the city was featured in the first season of the FOOS' HBO series "Sonic Highways".
An unofficial track list for the EP includes the song titles "Iron Rooster", "Neverending Sigh", "Saint Cecilia", "Savior Breath" and "Sean".

Adam10647 reacted to jhulud in BIG BLACK - Atomizer LP Remastered Reissue
    From Touch & Go.

Originally released in 1985, and now re-mastered by Steve Albini and Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering, Big Black's first full-length album Atomizer will be released on September 25th, 2015. To save you having to do the math in your head, yes, that makes this a 30th anniversary reissue!

This remastered version of Atomizer includes the song "Strange Things" which appeared on the first pressing of Atomizer, but was not present on subsequent vinyl pressings nor on The Rich Man's Eight Track CD. It also comes with a double-sided insert and a digital download coupon.

To put this release into context for the uninformed: Big Black began in 1982. Steve Steve Albini, then a sophomore at Northwestern University, fanzine writer and loudmouth, released the Lungs EP on the Chicago co-operative label Ruthless (whose other artists at the time included Naked Raygun and the Effigies). Lungs was recorded in his apartment on a borrowed 4-track for the price of one case of beer.

After that record’s release, Jeff Pezzati (singer for Naked Raygun) and Santiago Durango (Naked Raygun, Arsenal), both linchpins of the burgeoning Chicago music scene, joined Big Black. During this period, the band established itself as a live act, recorded two more records, the Bulldozer EP and the Racer-X EP, toured the U.S., and had - in general– a pretty good time.

Jeff Pezzati’s other obligations precipitated his departure from the band in 1984, when he was replaced by Dave Riley, bass player for Chicago swing-punk band Savage Beliefs. This lineup persisted until the band’s self-destruction in August of 1987.

Big Black toured the U.S., England, Europe, and Austrailia. They recorded a sh**load of records: Il Duce 45, Atomizer LP, Headache EP (which bore the heartbreakingly-honest disclaimer “Warning! Not as good as Atomizer. Don’t get your hopes up, Cheese.”), Heartbeat 45, He’s A Whore 45, Songs About Fucking LP, and Pig Pile LP / Video.

    Update, Wednesday, June 10 (2015)…
Having received the test pressings for Downward several months ago, I ended up not being 100% satisfied with the sound and am starting over. We are remastering and re-cutting lacquers this week. Sorry for the delay. The next obvious question is will we have them for sale during our august and September touring. I would assume not, due to the amount of time pressing plants need these days to keep up with their workload. But I’ll keep the project moving.

Adam10647 reacted to gabe in FINALLY, some news on the first two Rentals albums!
I hope this doesn't count as spam, but I interviewed Matt Sharp of The Rentals last week, and got some info on the progress of releasing Return of the Rentals and Seven More Minutes on vinyl. Here's what he had to say:

"Yeah, you know, I’ve been trying to do it for some time now, we’re trying to figure it out. The problem is that the first two Rentals records were done on Madonna’s label [Maverick], so it was under the umbrella of one of these huge corporations. And if you can imagine what it’s like trying to get a bill passed in government, it’s like all this weird … it’s impossible, it’s like going to DC and there’s a million people, and that’s what it’s like dealing with corporate entities. And so for us to get the record out of there is so daunting, but we’re trying, and I think we’re going to be able to do it. I just actually got a message from somebody [about it], so we’ve got some progress. The first one I definitely want to do. The original intent of Seven More Minutes was to have it be a longer record than it is. It’s already long, [laughs] so I was trying to figure out if we would actually release some sort of like, “Director’s Cut,” a version of the album where there’s like three or four more songs. So that could be fun to look into as well. But it’s the same thing—it’s trying to figure out who to talk to."

So there's some hope! If you're interested, check out the full interview here: http://badfeelingmag.com/2015/05/18/interview-matt-sharp-the-rentals/
