  1. Thank you for posting. I saw them about 2 weeks earlier in Birmingham AL w the Breeders. Best show show I've ever seen.
  2. Agreed that pink is the only correct color for this. More limited runs be damned. Hot pink spatter on black would've been dope.
  3. ...and Death from Above is pretty great. And Superchrist. There was a classic album in those recordings. Pomp and Circumstance should've never seen the light if day. God And Country was a good song that was butchered in the final version chosen that for the album. I've heard a killer acoustic version of that song. The subsequent Zeitgeist tours slayed.
  4. I'd also do a twofer for anyone going to curveballs for ss&p. Hit me up.
  5. So bummed I missed this. Someone hit me up if you can help a brother out.
  6. Wow! Just dropped $100 on an original pressing a couple months ago. Which I thought was an outstanding price at the time. This is a classic album that stands apart from almost anything else I've heard. Shame they never released another.
  7. Thanks for the info on the sequencing. Think I'll create a spotify playlist to match the vinyl.
  8. Just finished listening in to the lp. Really nice mix although my paper sleeve was shredded! I'm quite surprised that the seam didn't split wide open. Anywhoo... I don't recall mention of this elsewhere but the entire album sequence is quite different on the lp. Takes some getting used to but I think it flows better.
  9. FINALLY!!! My favorite of theirs, and I love them all. Never before pressed to my knowledge.
  10. https://www.soundstagedirect.com/dr-dog-live-at-a-flamingo-hotel-vinyl-records.shtml?gclid=Cj0KCQiAwp_UBRD7ARIsAMie3XbtMz2z2ZhkdDNiPiM2bjW0qUsrfhT0wXhixVgHJsccOLa7m6225poaAtlDEALw_wcB Since your live experience was your starting point, I would suggest live at a flaming hotel. That was my intro. I co mpare that with MMJs O konokos, a fantastic live album and a great representation of their discography.
  11. Underwhelming, heh. Guess I should've expected no variants as they've only done that once before. I was, however, hoping for some bundle options.
  12. I second the thought on abandoned mansion. Definitely not overly produced, which I loved. And one of their best albums lyrically. I could listen to that album all day long. Back in topic, still cannot find a preorder link outside of Amazon. Supposed to be released on Thirty Tigers.
  13. Ready for the good Dr Dog. New single is pretty dope, reminds me a little of Spoon. Funny but I thought Abandoned Mansions was pretty moody and thoughtful. That album was a total grower.
  14. Pretty sure MB is included in other tracklists I've seen. Amazon is only showing 7 sides of a 4LP set so something is amiss.
  15. Asleep at heavens gate is an excellent album. How's the covers album?
  16. This is a classic album. Never understood how the masses weren't all over it upon release. I think I have an OG but I need to check.
  17. Awesome. Just ordered, thanks! Weird they didn't use the original vinyl cover, which was different from the CD. (re welcome to wherever you are)
  18. Hope they release welcome to wherever you are at some point. Don't really want to go Brazilian for that one
  19. Please press Nico!!!! One of my favorite albums by any band.
