The tribute collection sounds very interesting, but I'm not going to buy the vinyl. I wish they would have mixed up the tracklisting. I don't want to hear 9 consecutive versions of Nothing Else Matters. I'll listen to this album on shuffle on Spotify.

My ROG copy of Now Here sounds fantastic. My copy of TSD is very quiet and lacks punch even when I crank it.

Neither has been released on vinyl. I'm guessing it's unlikely that we will see either of them soon with NIN working on new music now. Maybe eventually. It only took 25 years to get Quake on vinyl, right?

What does this even mean? Why do you have to be white to enjoy going to see The National?

I'm not familiar with the Nagoka series, but I've been using Ortofon Blue for 10+ years and don't think it sounds anything like a CD. I own many of the same albums on vinyl and CD, and most of the records sound much different/better than the CD with my Ortofon. I might have to give the Nagaoka a try to see if I notice a difference.

My first concern is sound quality. Then I look at whether there is anything unique or special about it. I don't really care about pressing quantity. As a side note, the only people who think first pressings sound better are the people who own first pressings!

Sold an OG a few years back for $250. Used Bullmoose points to get this one for $12. I'd say I can out ahead here.
