  1. I’m in Metro Detroit too. Every record I’ve ordered the last few months has spent at least a week in the Detroit Distro center. Then it will bounce to Allen Park or Romulus or Pontiac for another few days. It’s really weird. One I’m still waiting on from late May sat in New Jersey for a week, then went to St. Louis, then Memphis for another week. Knowing it’ll sit at the Detroit center for a week, I’m hopeful to have it by the 4th of July.
  2. Same here! Really stoked for this one though!
  3. Deep Discount had a slew of them on clearance this summer, 50% or more off a bunch
  4. I got the Blanck Mass - Animated Violence Mild (Electronic/Experimental/New Wave) Mikal Cronin - Seeker (Lo-fi/Indie) The Twilight Sad - Killed my Parents (Indie)
  5. Yeah that happened to me for a couple of the Stereolab reissues and Pond - Tasmania, still happy to snag a couple of things off my list!
  6. Just happened twice for me with Amazon too. The replacement they sent was sent in a big box with another somewhat heavier small item in the box also loose. Was more damaged than the original one. Also just got one from Deathwish that was the record in a mailer with a small wad of bubble wrap rolled up. Record was sliding around like an air hockey puck inside the mailer. Their response was basically fuck you, not my problem.
  7. I don’t ever make a big deal about corner dings or minor seam splits, but when the company is one of the bigger indie mail order labels, the service from Deathwish was pretty poor. I get records get damaged in the mail, but to completely wash your hands of it when you aren’t properly packing the records is disappointing for sure. Not the end of the world, but I’ll never order another record from them again.
  8. It’s significantly cheaper on Amazon.ca than SRC, just fyi.
  9. https://www.amazon.ca/Happiness-Fish-That-Catch-Vinyl/dp/B07Z74SFCC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=our+lady+peace+happiness+is+not+a+fish+that+you+can+catch&qid=1580227623&sr=8-1 $24.07 CDN plus shipping, still significantly cheaper than SRC which has it for $37US. Haven’t seen anything about pressing/variant info as of yet.
  10. These would still likely move quite well given what they’re selling for. Fortunately I have OG’s but would love to see the Chunk of Change EP repressed.
  11. Same here. I follow a few different ones and havent gotten emails in a month or two.
  12. I love this band, I will definitely be picking it up at some point, their first record was excellent!
  13. So stoked for the QOTSA, that has needed a repress so badly for too long.
  14. Even with the original press, this is an easy one for me. Can't wait to check out the demos and outtakes!
  15. Someone running Our Lady Peace social media accounts responded to my inquiry about Happiness Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch and said end of this year/early next year.
  16. It looks like the record is sitting on top of the 45 adapter? Is the record laying flush to the platter?
  17. If anyone would be able to pick up an extra Akuma No Uta tour copy I would be forever grateful!
  18. It’s by no means bad, I just don’t anticipate listening to it all that often. I give them credit for continuing to experiment, maybe will grow on me more after more listens.
  19. Probably my least favorite Oh Sees stuff I’ve heard after the first listen, was bound to eventually not love something they put out.
  20. Looking forward to new Mikal stuff. III was pretty solid, but I really haven't revisited it in quite awhile. II is still my favorite of his to date.
  21. You have to actually listen to them to know whether or not you like them.
  22. Also, a few things got cancelled last night, but the majority of everything looks like it will go through.
