New album announcement this week. Ryan was on instagram live last night and said the new album would be on vinyl, with a deluxe version too. I asked about reissues and all he said was "I don't know why they all aren't on vinyl", then he showed off part of his record collection.

That's pretty cool, but I can't ever imagine sitting down and choosing to put on party time instead of almost any other phish studio album. I feel like it would just sit on my shelf, like the siket disc currently does. Though I gotta say, I love my iTunes artwork for party time, and I have no idea how it happened.

I have the clear RSD of this, it sounds good. So much better than the garbage plain recording releases of ween records.
