Hey all!
I'm not really one to share my problems with the internet, but I feel I need to offer an explanation for the delays on getting stuff shipped and the lack of new arrivals. A routine checkup with my doctor a couple of months ago turned into something much more. Without getting into too much detail, I am a fairly ill individual at the moment. I didn't feel sick at all, but it is the medication/treatments that are kicking my ass. I was hospitalized for a week a while back and when I got out the meds made me sleep much of the time. When I wasn't sleeping I was puking. The prognosis is good that I will make a full recovery but I'm gonna be a little sluggish/slow for a while. I packed up a bunch of your orders today that will ship Monday and I am working on the rest. The recent pre-order items that arrived (Monolord, Sheavy, Kings Destroy, Weedeater) will be shipped out asap.

I have found this season to be quite boring honestly. We are now 6 episodes in and its been alot of "i dont really care" story arcs. I feel they at times should spend more of an episode just hammering out one or two peoples stories instead of showinf chunks of like 20 different stories. It makes all of them develop slowly to me.

all of these are quality.  i figure might as well go to the source instead of exploring new things in this genre realm. thats just me though.

Man that distro made me realize i know nothing about new crust/grind/powerviolence bands.

Shearer has bitched up a storm over how much he gets paid like 4 times now and threatened to quit and then they smoothed things over. For someone who makes 7 million a year to make voices he is really complaining alot. As much as i hate to say it i hope he cried wolf too many times and they are gonna tell him dont let the door hit you on the way out.

I skipped this tour because i would pretty much be paying 35 bucks to see graveyard again. I never really got into clutch(not that i think they are bad but more just they exist and have heard a few songs that were fine but didnt drive me to go buy a bunch of their records). That new mastodon really didnt win me over and based on setlists i saw they were heavy on the new record which is expected. They sometimes bust out really awesome old stuff in their sets (played hearts alive when i saw them last year) and sometimes just usual stuff that is cool but not jaw droppingly surprising.
Mastodon always seems to bring really great support on their tours over the years though. Bands that deserve a bit more exposure to the mainstream. (graveyard,kvelertak,kylesa,intronaut, dillinger escape plan to name a few)

Its so important to have its own thread seperate from the mondo thread people cant be bothered with getting the title right.

in honor of the day i bought the electric wizard RSD release.  i do not partake in the activity of the day but will enjoy the jams none the less...

With echos in moment of stone is also quite good. Its been so long since ive listened to the first two records so cant say if its a good place to dive in.

I was jamming acid king busse woods while running today. Forgot how great that record is.

about 15 hours into GTA 5.  this is a great game.  also is a nice thing to play and catch up on all my back log of records i havent listened to in the past month. 

i feel so removed.  i know like two of those bands on no sleep records...
