So my wife and I recently got a puppy.  He rules but as I am sure many of you know the upfront cost when you don't have one is quite large.  He is as good of an excuse as any to go through the collection and pull some stuff to sell to recoup those costs.

Last time i checked the record sounds the same regardless of color or /xxx pressing. If i can get a limited thing for equalish value im all for it but when its 10-20 bucks more ill just get whatever is most economic and call it a day. That is sans the stb stuff as i am trying to keep my obi collection going on those (and am pissed im missing one)

These sales are typically good for used blu rays especially. Though it looks like they jacked up prices on all used stuff so its not really a "deal"
Just looked at the price on something i bought from the sale last month. Went from 5 to 10 bucks for no reason. Take 30% off that and still more than the used price a month ago. Way to go go hastings...

People like to complain about stuff. We all do it about one thing or another. It just happens to be mostly about this release. First it was taking too long, then it cost too much money, then it was not on color vinyl, then shipping was too much, then it sold out too fast, then its not okay that they are pressing more, queue a few weeks from now when it sells out people will complain they didnt have the ability to get one.
I personally had no interest in this release but it seems it was put together really well and is fairly priced. Them making a second press is a good problem to have not a bad one if i were looking to get this. Just me though.

two LP releases from mondo are 35 bucks. This is 4 LP and 75 bucks. From the looks of it the artwork and all that stuff is pretty hefty which is probably tacking on a few extra bucks. People dont hesitate to buy two 2LP releases on the same day and spend roughly the same amount but for some reason this one has everyone up in arms more.

It sucks when you cant get a print but at this point with mondo what can you do. It wont change and will only get worse. Ive gone into it anymore where if i get it great if i dont thats what i expected. Go in with low expectations and its easier to be less disappointed.

They should have known you wanted it and just sent it to you so it arrived as soon as the deal was posted. Any other option is just selfish on their part.

Stumbled upon these dudes and they punish. Kind of a mixture of black metal vocals at times but mostly straigh up doom.

I think the bigger thing to announce is they are doing a tour this fall with fucking monolord!

Steve from stb has posted a bunch of stuff to fund future releases on ebay. Some of it is just stoner and punk records and some are rare stb releases. If you got a few hundred bucks you can grab the doctor doom test and help fund their next record at the same time!

Anyways, i stumbled down the spotify rabbit hole and found these guys. Slow and epic doom that is pretty great.

Geezer has an LP (it is currently hidden) 2 shirts, patches,tapes. Whatever the LP is it is 20 bucks.Edit; it looked like the geezer was the halloween cover. I didnt get the chance to ask though. All three of the bands absolutely crushed but unfortunately only did so in front of like 15 people. Like 3/4 of the shirts had designs i just cannotbwear at my age anymore. Geezer had a really awesome one but then it had a huge pair of boobs right dead center on it so couldnt get that...
