The band has said they don't want it repressed so I don't think it's going to happen. At least not any time soon. Take Care is my least favorite by a lot but, personally, I celebrate their entire catalog. Only album I'm missing on vinyl is Friday Night Lights.

Wasn't a fan of his whole comedy schtick but he was a great dramatic actor. One Hour Photo and Insomnia were both fantastic and he seemed like a good person. Really bummed to hear this news. Depression is fucking serious. There is nothing wrong with needing help. Please get help if you are suffering from depression.

35mm Horror Fest yesterday: Day of the Animals Alone in the Dark (1982) The Burning (X-rated cut) Lady Terminator Maniac (1980) Mad Max Awesome day and a mostly awesome lineup. I'd never seen Mad Max before and really didn't like it. Kind of a let down as a headliner, especially after the insanity of all the other movies.

The Footloose parody scene in Hot Rod is so fucking perfect. I just wish it kept going on and on because the punchline to the scene isn't as funny as the scene itself.

I've been sick once in the last 2 years (which is weird because I used to get sick allllll the time) and just had to leave work early because I felt horrible out of nowhere. This upsets me because never calling out made me the most reliable person at my job. Hopefully this goes away on it's own instead of getting worse, cannot afford medical care right now. Silver lining though, I get to watch my "Not feeling well movie marathon lineup" again. Hot Rod, Dumb and Dumber, Wayne's World, and Ghostbusters. Maybe some Mystery Team if I can find my copy.

Movie owns. It's definitely kind of an ordeal though. I've made every girl I dated watch it because I'm an either an asshole or a fucking weirdo.

Happiness is one of my favorite movies ever. Some A+ Phillip Seymour Hoffman, really awkward, depressing, and a hell of a last line.

Best $20 I ever spent.

Yesterday was my first day off in forever so I went hard on the movie watching: Lucy - Dumb and fun. Solid B-movie. The Purge: Anarchy - Another solid B-movie. Not great, but had an old school John Carpenter feel to a lot of it. Could have been better, ending kinda sucked. Needed a synth score. Captain America: The Winter Solider - One of the better Marvel movies. Way better than the first Cap. Goodbye World - Decent collapse of society flick. I kinda had a panic attack for unrelated reasons in the middle of it which kind of hampered my enjoyment. Step Brothers - Still hilarious. Just what I needed to calm me down a bit. Blue Ruin - Solid slow burn revenge flick. Would recommend.

Saw them three times touring on Undoing Ruin. I'll just choose to remember circle pits, stage dives, and losing my voice screaming along to every song.

You Are Beneath Me, Try Me, and their Island Series 7"s are all essential listening.Deathwish will probably have their own exclusive variant. They do that with most SDF releases regardless of what label puts it out.

I was expecting They Came Together to be a lot funnier because the online buzz was it was a return to the Wet Hot American Summer style for David Wain. Still had enough bits to be an enjoyable watch. Jut got out from seeing Lucy. Fun little B-movie. Ridiculous, stupid, and hilarious but a fun and fast 80 minute ride.

Oh damn, that sucks. Before I posted I checked and I was able to add one and get all the way to checkout (I immediately removed it from my cart so it wouldn't fuck things up). I guess there were only a few left and people had them in their carts. Now it says they're sold out.
