Even if the money doesn't go to future releases, I don't see why it matters. People want to pay for them. The sellers aren't even asking for some absurd price, people actively place bids that they're comfortable paying. I am unsure if some think differently on here or not, but people who run labels don't make a lot of money, and also tend to work far more than your average person making the same amount. I wanna live in a nice apartment with my girlfriend and live comfortably as an adult just like everyone else in the world. 
 
Donating to charity is obviously awesome too, but I don't think that makes doing it for personal reasons immoral.

Harsh but fair. Some people need to be burnt before they'll learn a lesson. Between this and the soon to be released walking dead picture disks I smell a campfire raging

at least they're attempting to masquerade it as charitable for once. with the number of test pressings they make, and the number they end up putting on ebay...

I simply do not understand the hype around this type of music. Do people flock to this due to it being "different" than anything else being released in that genre? I am not a prude, but the lyrical content of everything Tyler releases is just profane nonsense. If you're listening to the music solely for the production, again this is a miss.

I think it has to do with the type of music being played. I just don't see the need for incessant stage diving for bands like Tigers Jaw and Balance And Composure. I understand the deal with hardcore/punk bands and if I'm watching Paint It Black, American Nightmare etc...especially bands with a lead singer that doesn't play an instrument and just works a crowd. I know it comes with the territory. I don't think Tiny Raindrop is a song to front flip off a monitor to. 
 
I should clarify I'm neutral about stage diving and crowd surfing in particular. I feel like now at some of these shows these kids are doing it wrong.

I hope everyone has been well.  I'm doing very well, thank you for asking.  I'm nobody special.  I'm not in a band and I don't work for the music industry.  I am just an average guy with a family that loves music and records.  I really enjoy doing these giveaways and have met some amazing people within this community.  I took a few weeks off to focus on some other things and now I'm back.  It appears that tonight had to be the night.  The responses tonight have been excellent and entertaining, and I thank you for that.
 
Now, here is what I have in store for you all.  I've acquired some nice items that I will be giving away this holiday season.  It's going to be a good time for everyone.

Was flipping through my collection today listening to a few things when I realized that I really like the design of Balance and Composure's The Things We Think We're Missing. The colors used, design and packaging layout of the lyrics etc.

I wouldn't be that upset since I like Misser and Long Lost.  I didn't love YNE but I didn't hate it like many did.

I saw it available on Hot Topic's website. Anyone have any clue as to which pressing it is? Probably opaque blue?

As much as I would like to collect the sounds from my youth, I can't justify spending the money on this. This was one of my top albums in middle school but there are too many other records that I want at the moment.
