Knocked Loose’s Coachella livestream was fantastic. So many people expected the typical “yeah it’s Coachella no one will care” theme to happen and they proved everyone wrong. Bryan got both listeners and non-listeners to stage dive, mosh, circle pit and sing along. Anyone who’s in a band needs to take a lesson from that performance. That is proper crowd control, showmanship, and how you make people who’ve never heard of the genre care about hardcore. They couldn’t have done a better job

Big News! We are proud to announce that we have signed with SideOneDummy Records, and that they will be releasing our new album, Christmas Island, on May 6th, 2014. You can preorder it here:http://www.onchristmasisland.com/
As some of you may know, we made the record with John Congleton in June of last year. We believe that it is our best work so far. The Christmas Island players are Sean, Ben, Preston, Deacon and Mark as well as Dylan Cook on mandolin with guest vocals by Jamie Stewart (of Xiu Xiu)
We commissioned the wonderful Suzanne Falk to make the album cover, a photorealistic painting of a diorama she and Sean made together. The title of the painting is: "Everything we were ever looking for was there all along".
This album represents a special kind of growth for us. A growth fertilized by the joy of collaboration and a revitalized appreciation of art and process. We are very excited to share it with you, thank you for your patience

My favorite part is how he says calling people 'faggot' and saying 'gay' just means stupid or wack is no big deal and that it's not offensive. That's cool. I'm going to call people 'nigger' and say "that's fucking african american" when I mean stupid or lame. No big deal, I mean it's not offensive. Don't get mad until you actually can't get it. Then ask how many asked before you. If the number is more than 11, you wouldn't have been able to get one anyway. Very nice of this guy to do that and for the band to allow it.
