I'm so sorry you haven't gotten yours yet but I can at least confirm he is shipping still, who know how long it'll take though. As for the record it is perfect (no warping at all). The sound is nothing special and won't blow you away by any means, but it sounds nice enough.

Yeah it is a great little selection of tunes. My buddy saw Matt play in England earlier this year and picked up a tape for me and then I just ordered the other one. Love the Duck.

I only saw them the other day! I'm glad they compiled all those tracks... and I finally have a functioning cassette player so I COULD buy the physical releases. 

Matt is releasing this one himself so I doubt there will be a variant. I wouldn't be surprised if there was not a huge initial run for that reason as well.

Very chillwavey, sounds kinda like Causers of This mixed with the song structures (and clear vocals) of Anything in Return. Definitely  great album, after first listen I'd say I rank it as my 4th favorite Toro LP. I am very partial to Anthing and What For so those are at the top, but this one is just a tad lower than Underneath the Pine. I'm sure I will like it a lot more on repeated spins though!

REALLY  good album. Definitely a nice change in direction for their sound thanks to Julian's guitar work. Martin still sounds like Martin tho so if you like his voice on previous albums you'll love him here. I recommend checking out Serve the Song and Saturday and if you like those you'll like the album. I feel like Serve is a great showcase for Julian's guitar playing.

I'd say the songs on Beach Music are even more developed than this album. If I were you I'd check that one out.

Salt is one of the best Alex G songs. I really enjoy Brite Boy a lot too. I actually just love everything he does. Is Beach Music underrated? I think so

I know nobody actually said this ^^^ in this case and I can get why someone would want people they identify with up in the front...but how do you think this is ok?
Imagine if someone said, "Yeah, I'd like to get the front filled up with heterosexual, gender CIS people only. Anyone in the LGBTQ community, please move to the back." Nah, that wouldn't fly. People would absolutely lose their shit, and rightly so.
 
If someone paid to come see you, they're there supporting you not causing an issue, don't fuckin' mean-mug them because you assume you don't share their beliefs, or that they don't share your gender identity. The hypocrisy is real.
