Okay believe it or not, I JUST now listened to this for the first time.
 
I really, really loved it.  I agree with everyone else in the sense that it could use more 2D, but I didn't find myself missing him too much most of the time because everything else was so great.

I have to say the more I listen these tracks, the more and more I'm loving them. I was kind of nervous after it having been 7 years since their last album but these have me even more excited for the new album whenever that's going to happen. The SNL performance was also great considering how most bands sound on SNL.

Personally, I'm a big fan of music that sounds good when it goes in my ears. I know that's a bit of a hot take nowadays, but goddammit, when a song sounds good I can't help but enjoy it. These songs sound really good to me, so call me old fashioned, but I'm a fan.

Just moved into a new place and got a new turntable, since I was using my old roommate's for the past few years. Set up is a blue U-Turn Obit Plus with the cue lever upgrade -> Onkyo TX-8020 -> KLH AV-830 and around 130 records in two wooden apple crates.

You might not necessarily hear it, but damage is being done. Plus we all know speaker stands look badass. That room is lovely though. Very well done.
