Thanks for the heads up on this, I was lookint at one of these for ages but didn't know how legit they were, which one I should use or how much tax I would be stung with once landed here, so thanks for the spreadsheet cost breakdown. Going to set up one.
It's annoying because my purchases from the states are always so spread about so will need to plan it out before going in on this.

I'm also using these companies for the last 3 years and can confirm that it's chipper to buy records outside of US, England, Australia through them. Also I'm living in the fucking Russia and still buy records despite of sanctions on payment and sanctions on shipping. Process became little bit longer and risky (pay with cryptocurrency) but have no other choice for the moment.

The only issue I had with mail forwarders is that they cut my Turnover vinyl while opening the shop's package (you can ask them to remove it to reduce the weight of the parcel). But they returned me money for it.

I'll try to keep this short, so let's go.

About a year ago I was fed up with intl shipping prices and the new EU tax law, that you have to pay tax (it's 27% here in Hungary) on everything you order, it is especially disgsuting that the amount is calculated on the item + shipping total, so basically a 20-dollar record with the least awful scenario of a 20-dollar shipping would end up in my hands  for a whopping $50,8 which came to the point that collecting is becoming unsustainable. This is when I dug into mail forwarding services, and after about 5-6 shipments without any issues I can confidently say that it's a game changer.

Disclaimer: please look into it yourself with your country details etc.

So the process is I'm using ship7.com who has a warehouse in Delaware (tax free US state), I ship my records there mostly for free or cheap media mail, I have up to 60 days free period (after that it has a small fee)to wait for multiple packages and then I ship them out to Hungary together for way cheaper than it would be  directly from the labels/stores would be, not to mention you can get US indie exclusives, get stuff from stores that only ship to the US etc.. (Also, this is up to how rulefollower you are you can play with declared value, but then again it might be risky, so it's on you to do it or not, but alone saving on shipping is huge, saving on tax is enermous). Obviously inserting a middleman is always a risk, as you have no help from the place you bought the record anymore after if arrives to the warehouse, but I was at a point of either this risk or selling off my collection. the rant stops now, here are some pictures of my last 10-record (teamed up with a friend for HIL, that's why only 9 records pictured) shipment and a sheet about the savings.

somehow popmarket has both UK colorways, and also a US one which says deluxe, limited so it either could be black like FATA or the most common colored version like the TGUK ones.

If you are aiming for the colored/hand numbered UK version it's a great buy for ~27 dollars and free shipping with code THANKS10 for 10% off.

Use ship7's mail forwarding service.  you mediamail it to their us storage then you can undervalue it to declare less tax and ship it for a way more reasonable price from them.
( I'm waiting for a 10 record order from various labels from them right now for 80 dollars total of shipping which would be a lot more if i ordered from the labels directly.)

poor you,  must be very hard to swallow 20 dollars on shipping once in every 1000 orders, too bad anyone outside of the US pays that on 999 of 1000 orders...

Just a sidenote which you probably 100% know, but don't let paypal exchange it for you as they use horrible rates (always the card issuer), for me today it wanted to give 0,95 dollar for 1 euro so imagine that it's the same other way around.
Also big up for doing this, this is what a great community all about!

Alright guys, it's time for a final roll call.  Now that I believe I have all PMs, here's the breakdown I've got.
☑️ Myself – clear, purple marble
    ☑️ Bronchitis – Pink
    ☑️ FEN1XD0WN – clear, purple splatter
☑️ Deathbyart – clear, purple splatter
    ☑️ Hallowken78 – clear, purple splatter
    ☑️ Achillesstand7 – clear, purple splatter
☑️ Swisherprice – clear, purple marble
💸 ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED 💸
I mocked up both carts from the band's bandcamp and also their Red Creek label.  Bandcamp is factoring in tax and substantially higher, so Red Creek it is.  Here's what I've got:

€238.83 / 7 = $34.12 + $3 Media Mail = $37.12.  I'm going to ask 🔺 $37.50 Paypal'd from each of you, since Google conversion never tends to equal out favorably to the US dollar.  And checking now, it is not a clean 1:1 like it was yesterday.  (The Euro is actually just barely stronger at the moment.  So the sooner we can place an order, the better.)

I've fixed my account so I can accept Friends & Family payment which I would truly appreciate.  I have 50 positive feedback on this site, and I recognize all of your names – I've been a part of VC for over a decade and won't bolt with $240 in my account.  You're in good hands.
Please note that very, very often – almost like clockwork – with these bulk group buys from abroad, there always seems to be a bit of transit damage that gets spread to all copies.  It could have something to do with the weight of 6+ records in one mailer, traveling halfway across the world, but I'll usually see something like 1 corner ding in the same spot for everyone's copy.  Like the entire box was dropped on one corner or something.  Etc.  I will add a note asking for extra packaging and care but there is no guarantee that will do anything.  Please know that I will ship your record very securely once it arrives at my place... but you may want to prepare for a lil' cosmetic damage to the record.  If it happens, there is a very good chance we'll all get fucked in the same way, in the same spot.  Like Eskimo Brothers but for vinyl imports.  It could be a bonding experience.
I will be messaging each of you with the total due and Paypal address to send it.  If we can secure all payments today, I will pull the trigger this evening.
    Thank you.

well the other 3 non-splatter variants compliment it way more lol
also the red/white half-half variant is just ugly. I wonder when labels/plants finally realize that splatter on opaque colors look underwhelming and ugly as hell.

60 CAD shipped + taxes for a nostalgia record is way too much righ now, hopefully Bearded Punk Records will have some copies for us in Europe. Also the ruby red is obviously the best variant, sooo sick of these splatters.
