  1. not many things in history will end up as dated as this record so I'm probably buying it
  2. I hear this song on the radio at work and it makes me smile In a bad way
  3. fair enough! I'll have to hire a detective to do the dirty work. Just kidding I'll forget about this until one day in April a record shows up and I think to myself, "damn what did I drunk buy this time?"
  4. I guess the real tell will be if they ship at the same time right? If variants 1 and 2 show up at people's doors on the same day, they were clearly keeping them as a surprise in the closet. If there's a delay, it would appear to be an honest attempt at matching demand. There's no way they complete a "second pressing" in 2 months. Got the first variant though and I think the colors work better anyways. For that price it's hard to complain
  5. The Feistodon 7 inch is the only thing I've ever kept from any RSD. Every single thing I've ever felt bad about missing out on has either been mass repressed later or isn't expensive. Besides Government Plates I guess
  6. Real: Panopticon, Youth Code, Khorada, Ghost Iffy: Death Grips, Baroness Tool: Tool, System of a Down
  7. Imagine being so butthurt about the news that you actually paid money for a shitty meme
  8. Searching my email VinylHub comes up in Discogs newsletters at least as far back as July 2016. Not sure why the big press push is happening this week?
  9. Maybe my memory isn't great but didn't they launch this like 2 years ago?
  10. This record is honestly just super boring. There's more color on the packaging than in the music IMO. Shame, big fan of her earlier stuff
  11. Those non white copies of Octahedron are still a mystery AFAIK. When they were first posted, nobody even knew they existed. I think the general consensus was that they were more likely misprints than bootlegs or limited variants. I've also never seen even a picture of a black copy of Octahedron. White is all there officially is. Good luck finding the grey one!
  12. I actually really enjoyed this album and would be kicking myself if I had bought the original pressing, because the covers have been absolutely awesome. Price tag is a bit much here but I'd drop 30-40 on a decent Avenged record with a Mr. Bungle cover! Maybe on clearance at Bullmoose next year.
  13. This actually grew on me fast. It's just so stupid I can't possibly hate it. Fun as always don't miss the metal since they lost it after Flash Flood. Might honestly pick this up.
  14. Fuck yes, I need these. Hopefully they don't go till I get paid
  15. Oxblood is out of 1000 from Sargent House's Twitter. Nice.
  16. Anybody know the pressing numbers for the oxblood variant? Not listed on Discogs yet. This record is great as usual for her. God City was a great call.
  17. From the last letlive. record I figured he'd move more into pop music, guess not. Pretty cool if a little too nu metally sometimes. I'll miss the melodic aspects of letlive. a ton.
  18. Should be good! I'd forgotten about their new record but I'd sure as hell bet it's out before the tour starts. Here's hoping sooner rather than later. But realistically 12 days of Twitter memes
  19. Yeah but the point of that is to create a uniform, accurate system. How many typos or incorrect variants do you think exist among all DF lists? Discogs has a higher barrier of data entry but so many more features. Most of the complaints in this thread are about how the features are too much effort even though they accomplish 10x more than DF if used well. If you don't want something more complex than DF wouldn't it just be easier to keep your own plain text list? Something I never understood which is why I gave up on DF
  20. Gotta join the pro discogs camp. Deadformat was just so much effort in comparison. Sad to see another good site die out though
  21. Anybody know how the Avenged Sevenfold pressings sound? I'd think about em for old time's sake but not if they're awful CD rips.
  22. Cult Of Luna and Julie Christmas tour this week. Hell yeah
  23. It took me about five listens to get into this record but now I dig it. At first it felt like a half rate Bowie tribute but now it plays like a real QOTSA record. Some songs have too much extra stuff going on sometimes and it's jarring to hear Josh singing like a pop singer.
