For anyone whose copy hasn't moved yet, here's the response I got from TR:
"Apologies for the delay. This has shipped out and the delay is because of the storm. I've set up an alert for your package but it should scan soon. This also happens sometimes with huge volumes of pick ups. I don't think you need to worry yet, let's give it a few more days to watch out for any movements. I can send a download to you if you'd like."

I really like the intro, it's essential because the album ends with a reprise of it so it bookends. I'd be upset if it was like that on my copy.

this is 5 LPs of unlistenable dickaroundery on his $100,000 toy he can barely play sold at an astronomical price and youd have to be a straight up sucker to buy it.

I was at his "As Am I" event at Zuzu's last night. $290 for a VIP ticket and a 7 hour drive and he still couldn't sign my OG siamese dream LP for me which I've been trying for years to get signed. He always says "nah cause if I sign one then I have to sign everyone's".  There were 15 people in there, all die hard fans, and that was too much to handle yet he can sign copies to be sold for $200 online that any chump can buy. Really shows you how much he values his fans. I've been a fan forever and have come to expect this kind of behavior from him but I think that's the last time I give him any money for anything.

Hah, that's pretty neat.

I can one-up that. I did a VIP meet/greet with Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins a couple weeks ago, at his tea shop north of Chicago. Have loved the band since I was 10 (I'm 25). Paid near $300 to be there, and there were maybe 15 people. Asked him to sign my OG orange Siamese Dream, always wanted it autographed. He said no, because if he signs one, he has to sign everyone's. "Everyone's" being a handful of diehard fans, some of whom traveled long distances to Chicago (one from Denver, another from North Carolina, me from Minneapolis) and paid a wad of money to see him play some acoustic covers for probably less than 45 minutes. Nope, too much work. Even though he had a bunch of signed albums on the shop's website for $200 each, $300 for the Mellon Collie or Aeroplane Flies High box set. Really pissed me off. 

Same. Only those who had a part on the album. It's sometimes awkward when you're around newer members and have to avoid them signing it, but in most cases they understand.

Forgot to post this one, saw Brian Wilson perform Pet Sounds a couple months ago, and was able to get a copy signed by Al Jardine, another original Beach Boy. I missed Brian by about 5 minutes though so I was pretty bummed about that. Who knows when/if I'll get that chance again.

My two most recent acquisitions. You guys may be familiar with them.
 
Mike came out to the line waiting for doors beforehand and took some photos and signed stuff, so that was cool. Then afterwards I went upstairs to take out some cash for a poster and the Steves were up there with their families/neighbors/friends, who were all very excited/in disbelief that these guys actually have fans wanting autographs haha. It was cute. Got to chat with each of them about making new music and playing for bigger crowds, etc. Had to wait out in the side alley for Nate Kinsella to come out, Steve Holmes eventually went and got him for me.

I actually really enjoyed the new stuff live, more than I expected to. Also hung around and met them and their families after, they're all super nice people. Go see them if you can. Also, Joan of Arc opened. A guy in a banana suit and mask danced around and smushed bananas up in his hands and handed them out to the audience, so there's that.

I've listened to the album maybe 10-20 times now and enjoy it for the most part, but something has always annoyed me slightly and I finally realized what it is. It's Kinsella's word-attack when he sings. He's doing this soft pretty attack to his words, much different from how he sang on LP1. He softly glides into them, and I just find it kind of cheesy. Otherwise I like everything else. I wonder if the change was intentional or if he just brought over his Owen style. 

I'm driving 7ish hours to the Chicago show this weekend. Pretty dang excited. Never thought I'd get to see these guys live.

I'm pretty sure that's just how he sings now.  He mentioned in a recent interview that now he's "no longer afraid to walk out the front door" in regards to his vocals;  meaning the vocals on LP1 are that way because of a lack of confidence more than trying to sing in a certain style.

Enjoying the album but it won't overcome LP1 for me. Not a tremendous fan of how "pretty" Kinsella's singing style has become. And I'm with the others who said it's been mixed too far up front. Still looking forward to receiving the vinyl and can't wait to see them in Chicago.

I went to the Eau Claire event today. There were maybe 200 people in the little parking lot where the mural is. Up at the front by the wall there was a newspaper rack with the 22AM newspapers, and a little boombox playing the album. I uploaded a gallery of the newspaper: http://imgur.com/a/nr3w3
