my setup as of this morning.

Sam posted on Instagram saying they were going to "see what they could do tomorrow" for those who missed it.

These come shrink wrapped, they arent going to open them up and take them out of the jacket before they ship a record. Labels can do this a lot of times if they are shipping out records in poly bags but they dont even have poly bags laying around where they are shipping these from. I dont think you would be able to get a place like Amazon or Best Buy to ship something outside of the jacket either.

I bought a copy on the 19th as well, hope it shows up soon. 

Dude sucks for sure. I bought a record from him off Discogs, and he kept telling me he shipped it (for about 5 weeks). I finally opened a Paypal claim, and within a couple of days he dropped the LP off at the post office. 
 
I got my record, but it took close to 2 months and a TON of emails/bitching/paypal claim.

It is for clearance items only, and it is still active, and there is no code needed.

I bought Palms from Bestbuy.com and it was the black variant. 

This is true. I got the orange/yellow variant on RSD. I decided to grab the pink/black variant because I thought it looked awesome. B9 shipped me a blue copy. I don't really give a shit, but I wasn't expecting it to be blue. However, if it was the orange/yellow variant that I already had I would have been a bit bummed.

Vinyl prices have been shitty for about 2-3 years now. It is tough to find a new single LP release for under $15.99 these days, when 3-4 years ago most single LP releases were $10-$12.
 
I bought way too many records in 2012 and the first few months of 2013 and my plan is to slow the fuck down from here on out. I love records, and I totally understand that the cost to manufacture an LP is far greater than the cost of manufacturing a CD was/is, but this is all too reminecent of the CD "boom" when I was a kid/teenager and all the new releases were over $16.99 at Blockbuster Music.

With all of that said, I am a total sucker, I dropped a stupid amount of money on Record Store Day, on shit that I KNOW I could have lived without. Fuck me.

I really didn't want to spend $30+ on the No Alternative comp, which is why I passed on it at my local store on Saturday, but I know I will kick myself later for not grabbing it.

I am just curious where/who is the vinyl community? I really only spend time here and I try to check out r/vinyl but usually get tired of seeing pictures of King Crimson's "In The Court of the Crimson King" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". (Both are excellent albums, but for fuck's sake, we all know what they look like AND sound like).
 
I know there is a vinyl community on You Tube but it seems to be filled with people that are more interested in acquiring records for the sake of acquiring records, and thus get boners over anything..these videos seem filled with mostly thrift store "finds" of classic rock albums. I could be wrong on this though. I used to like watching "Dan In Canada's" videos before he called it quits...dude had an awesome collection and pretty rad musical tastes.
