  1. All three Maybeshewill albums are splendid listens. Their latest has the most polish, in my opinion. Really stoked on their 2014 release.
  2. Welcome, friend. It's always great to hear about folks discovering Toe.
  3. Haha, I certainly wouldn't go that far. I just enjoy some good banter. I also appreciate a good trolling... but if that's not the case here, then Heaven clearly has some sort of tough-guy bullshit to prove, and I'd be tickled to find out what it is.
  4. Assuming you're not trolling, you literally bought an album based off hype. That's idiotic in itself. You then proceeded to rave about how awful it is, in a thread where it's sought after. Cool on you, bro.
  5. Don't sweat it. It sounds like Lupe is all set to cover the both of us, if Youinreverse can't snag a copy. I'm not sweating it too much, either, but it appears to be pretty elusive online so I do appreciate any help I can get.
  6. Sweet. Well, maybe you can cover Sque and I'll hit up Lupe. Spread things out a bit. Lupe's also in California, which makes for less distance for the vinyl to travel. Thanks anyway. To both of you.
  7. Damn. This thread made me think it was live in the webstore. Still patiently waiting...
  8. Damn, that'd be all kinds of fantastic. It goes without saying that Squelette should get dibs if there's only one copy left, but my fingers are definitely crossed. I truly appreciate the sentiment, either way.
  9. I love you and everyone else who continues to keep this a thing without overdoing it. Chuckled to myself uncontrollably while reading this thread on my phone. Ry's idea of a merge has a lot of potential. The ridiculous red of Kess and the TDAG debauchery meets the goofy green of Zayzay and all the Paramore randomness. The colors are right; the members are there: it could be a Christmas miracle of the utmost tomfuckery.
  10. Oh wow, I've definitely seen your avatar on that site. Many times and in many places. [edit] And forgive the super-lurking, but have you caught Lord Huron before? If not, you're in for a real treat.
  11. This is dumb. I should stock up on those Circa Survive represses because even if I have zero intentions to keep them, I can easily throw them up on eBay for profit simply because "PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY" flipper prices. That's not econ 101. That's just being shitty. What you should've done is offered your red copy (or your sonic boom record) here at VC. Either in this thread, or in the Sale board. You could've easily explained what the situation was, and broken even in the process. Hell, you probably could've asked for a couple bucks extra and obtained plenty of potential buyers in the process. That's just my take, anyway. Have I sold a record and made a profit off of it? Absolutely. I'd be lying if I said I haven't. What I've never done, though, is turn around and sell a record mere weeks after obtaining it. Everything I've sold has been in my collection for a good amount of time, and a lot of my "profitable" sales have been after careful consideration and much reluctance. But what can I say? To each his own, I guess. Do what you want. But don't sit there and play off flipping as "basic economics" (Jesus. Really?) And fuck off for implying that the rest of us - those who don't flip - don't have bills and financial burdens of our own. Unbelievable.
  12. You could've easily sold your red TDAG at a BIN equal to what you paid (+14% for eBay / Paypal fees) and avoided looking sketchy as hell.
  13. Solid albums, solid variants. Love me some coke bottle.
  14. Haha, this fucking kid. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but part of me still can't believe it. Just when you think he couldn't possibly be more annoying with his incessant hounding and redundant questions, the bar gets raised. Bravo, kess. Bravo.
  15. Can't believe no one has touched on the lack of refunds, either.
  16. So after the ridiculous hounding to track down a red copy, it would appear that he's selling one, now?
  17. I enjoy the variety of variants just as much as anyone else. And I'll even pick up an extra copy of a record, down the road, if a new colorway gets pressed and I happen to like it more than the one I've got. But it's the Gotta' Catch 'Em All mentality that is just ridiculous. If that's something you enjoy, by all means; go for it. But some people treat it like they're being held at gunpoint, and absolutely have to buy every variant ever released. Like their ability to enjoy the band or album is officially in jeopardy if they can't whip out their dick to gloat about a complete collection. It's just absurd.
  18. Because hoarding multiple variants is absolutely mandatory and directly proportionate to how big of a fan you are.
  19. I feel genuinely bad for anyone who collects Circa variants. Especially since next year's copies will probably retail for $30 instead of $25.
