Have you guys received your tapes yet?

I saw them back in '07 at El Corazon here in Seattle with 65daysofstatic and what was supposed to be This Will Destroy You, but they couldn't make it due to getting in accident. What made it even crazier was their frontman David had been stabbed in the cheek via the bass players fresh excess strings coming off his headstock the night before. Only played for like 25 min but it was super intense bloody rag to the face and all.

Even though I own both box sets, curious to hear the remastering and I cant say no to that Copia variant!

My copy of MF064 EP arrived yesterday, but didnt have a chance to spin it yet. Arrived in pretty good shape with a nice corner ding, but the record itself looks really nice, sort of lilac in color. Poly inner sleeve was a nice touch as well. Will report back with sonic impressions later today.

Belmont Records on Discogs blocked me from purchasing because I gave them neutral feedback on an order over three years ago. Reason I bring it up now is I sent them multiple messages over the said 3 years wondering why I could never purchase any records. Sent another one today for the hell of it and they finally got back to me today saying I was blocked, so I went through their neutral feedback too see what I left. Record was listed as the wrong variant. My feedback was tame as fuck, even stating it was still a good deal, but a bit immature to block a potential customer due to their own mistake. Numerous others had the same experience, wonder if they blocked them as well. Easily the most hilariously confusing day in quite some time!

Additionally, I ordered the clear variant and received a similar email saying they dont have enough materials to produce clear, so I will be getting standard black instead. Boo!

My DW sky blue variant has quite the noise floor, but really only noticeable in the lead in's and quieter sections. Overall, its a pretty decent pressing, but that album itself really exceeded my expectations.

For all things heavy, Zion's Gate in Seattle is great. Its a bit over priced IMO, but still the selection is quite varied. I live closer to Sonic Boom in Ballard, which I visit almost every weekend. Their used section in particular always has some great picks.

My copy arrived just now. Two pretty big seam splits on the top of each gate plus the inner sleeves were pretty wrinkled from insertion. Not why I am surprised but, the variant looks nothing like the photos on TR. Still looks really nice, but was hoping it would be transparent. Regardless, still a very nice package that sounds great!
