So my SS went above and beyond. First off not pictured is a TSSF shirt and a Run For Cover Mixed Signals LP! Been meaning to pick that up.

The Pop bobble heads are some of my favorite. Currently have the storm trooper sitting on my desk. So much cool stuff that I never would have thought of. And coolest of all was Borderlands: The Handsome collection. Had been meaning to get this and it came as a huge surprise. Well I originally guessed wrong but my SS was Violentshark87. Thanks so much dude!

Funny enough, I got a huge package from MBD on the same day as this so that split was right on point. It's one of the few I was missing. That La Dispute record is awesome since I had to trade mine awhile back for something I needed more. I love hearing music from people's hometowns so the other LP and split were cool. The 7" (Fuck Your something in cursive) was definitely my favorite out of the stuff I didn't know. I went through and listened to all the music on the playlist (sadly not in order because playlist files don't like me and wouldn't import in to anything) and definitely found some rad music I'm gonna have to look into! I'm also always happy to add more buttons to my "why do I have all these buttons?" box and some of the ones you sent are really rad!
My SS is definitely Mike aka smailtronic unless someone else lives in Chocago, works at Adler and listens to the same obscure and amazing emo bands.

It's incredibly easy to make, and freezing allows for saving a big batch!
 
I think it's a theme that the mid-country square states seem to have bad food; finding decent produce is a joke around these parts

It's really damn good, and super simple. It's an italian staple. Boil some pasta to your liking, and then saute some olive oil (of your choice) in a frying pan and add what spices you want. I use black pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic, then whan the oil cools down a bit I toss in either Italian spices or fresh parsley if I have it. Drain pasta, and toss in oil and enjoy.
 
Edit: Be careful not to burn the garlic, since it gets really bitter when burnt.

As I came late to participate, I'd be willing to put together the full package for whoever the recipient is and get it out in time for Christmas! Would really like to contribute to bring some goodness to a fellow VC'er

WOW that firestone walker parabola is supposed to be fantastic. i tried to get a bottle and missed it--only way was a raffle for a chance to buy it. i did somehow end up getting a bottle of their 18th anniversary on black friday. 

Off the top of my head, Bonobo - Black Sands was excellent.

Back in like 05 I gave a band (The Blackout Pact or something?) a jump when their van died in my work's parking lot (mile down the road from the venue). They offered to guest list me and I was like "Ah shit, I work until 9" and they were like "Youll be in time for Chiodos!"
I did not go.
