So, Dylan's now left the band too it seems. Can't link to his Instagram post (thanks, work filters) but I wonder what's gone on there? Am I maybe jumping the gun by just assuming there's going to have been some drama here? Edit: I realise I probably sound like an asshole here - I was kind of joking about the drama but totally misworded it!

Anyone know of any UK/EU distros with the hookup here? Please and thanks!

Oh man, brutal! I hope you get it sorted - might be my emotional attachment to the album but I don't know if I could accept any kinda ding on my copy.

The indie store variant was sat on a shelf in my local store yesterday. It took a lot of willpower not to buy it as a second copy just so I could have heard it by now...

It's blowing my mind that US people are getting it before us UK folks - I had no idea they were that well known beyond Europe! I'm just jealous, really.

Obviously I ordered this without thinking, but where were you guys reading about coloured wax? I couldn't see any mention of it. I hope this isn't just like Frames where I was moments too late to the party on that red vinyl.

If anyone's cancelled their order through the band but still wants a copy, I have the gold 1st press and I'd be willing to pass it on for cost. You'll have a 100% better chance of it arriving by the sounds of it. Slip into my DMs!

I think that's the point I'm at with all this. I actually really like this new album, but it does lack what made me really love them. It's that post-rocky leaning with all the washy sounds and stuff. I really hope this Hundred Year Ocean LP happens now, I can accept TWIABP being 'different' now if I can still get some of that sweet sweet guitar Nicole brings.

This is probably my favourite sounding record out of my whole collection in all honesty, it absolutely rips. The SRC reissue of Rival Schools - United By Fate is another one for me that sounds absolutely amazing, I can't compare it to other pressings but it has a lot of punch to it.

Do you find that places actually do that? I just got a customs note for this (fourth in a row!) and I'm gonna have to stop buying from the US if it carries on like this!

This and Gangs would get me to open my wallet again. I'm surprised they've not been done in all honesty!

I was totally on board with All Hail... but they lost me after that. I don't know whether it's just overexposure (I think I'm well into double-digits on seeing them live now) or my own tastes changing but Heirs and this latest track just haven't grabbed me at all. They're not bad songs, I just think they're a little...predictable? I had the same issue with Maybeshewill who I think were probably on a similar level at a similar time, their later stuff left me feeling the same. That said, I'll always go and see them when they come through. Absolute force of nature in person!

Oh mannnn, this new song is great. Going to a festival on Thursday, excited to finally see Converge for the first time on Friday, but between this and the Oh Sees preorder I'm getting serious vinyl-preorder-related FOMO...

I get ya! I was always in that boat, I find that lately this has waned a little. Yet, I still spend way more time lurking on here than I like to admit because I really just enjoy following these kinda of discussions, and I've thankfully heard a tonne of stuff I never would have before which sorta justifies the time!
