Same thing happened to me.  I even asked before buying and was assured it would be a vinyl record.  Pretty pissed.

I do have to laugh that there are people saying "original gangster" in their head when they read it though. I don't think my brain has ever associated the two. Do you guys think "post office" whenever anyone types "PO" as well?

a space jam flipper sounds confusing yet tasty. I generally like strawberry but i like to try different things, I'm quite the foodie. I'm in, I'll pay 50 for that. 

Just wanted to say thanks to whoever originally posted about Action records! It looks like my Isbell order went through so I got everything I wanted this year all at good prices.
 
I also got my 1-2-3-4 order delivered today and everything was looking good.

Yeah, I was there earlier today talking to Trevor about it. The higher than normal in-store prices are primarily due to the fact that he doesn't sell by volume like Sonic Boom/Kops/Rotate This/etc. He relies more on people seeking out rarities and niche stuff to cover his overhead costs. He isn't looking to expand either, so he's kind of limited in terms of sell/display space. Admittedly I've probably over-paid a bit for a couple rare things there, but the convenience factor alone makes up for it.
He also runs Paper Bag Records, so he's got experience with e-commerce and thus why he launched the online shop.
Personally, I'll stick with Rotate for new stuff as they usually have the lowest prices in town (I'd also give them the edge in terms of general used stuff too), but TRS isn't a bad alternative; especially for east-enders like me.

Finally got my Arthur Verocai this morning from Picidilly Records.  Damn this thing was hard to find but I can say I am finally done. 

I've noticed things don't show up in the sold history for a few weeks. So some may have sold.

ah ok. didn't cross reference it there. I got the red vinyl re-issue from years ago but would love to get this one with the flexi and book... Haven't seen it on very many sites even as sold out...

plenty have sold on the bay.  I love the album, but I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a limited RSD version and certainly no more than $30 for a standard (at import prices). 
 
 
 
 
 

The Elastica appears to be in shorter supply than alomost any other RSD releases this year - let's hope the rumours are true about the late shipments. There's a total of 1 copy on Discogs and none sold.

Yeah they had a fair load of stuff - the sort of genres you'd expect from Norman really.

Awesome. I was thinking there had to be a widespread release. Pretty sure this is what they were cutting at Abbey Rd a few months back when the reunion talk was going on. 

For the Elastica heads, Rupert from Drift Records believes there will be a general release in a few months and that the flexi-disc will be orderable too FWIW. I gave up tonight hours ago myself.

For those in Toronto, Rotate This has quite a few copies of Bangerz on their wall.  They just got them in.
 
 

Just realized that a complete BBC sessions would likely run four, even five sides so it would have to be 5LP.
 
I would have had no idea of that at the time... Heck, I wouldn't really be browsing Amazon for records... I only was aware of Discogs, Ebay, online storefronts and (e)mail-order

Elastica was the white whale of '14 because the shipments were delayed. Hardly any stores had it in stock that day, but they were pretty easy to find within a few weeks. I think even Amazon had it for a period of time.
