I was at the show last night, and I'm totally fucking crushed by this. he seemed to be in a great mood, very talkative and interacting with the crowd. a truly great performance. Such a sad day...

If you can hold off from the initial craze you'll probably be better off buying it from someone when it comes out. Because remember a quarter of the people buying this now are probably just going to throw it on the bay when it gets released. So just hold off and track it down when it gets released. Don't overspend now if you can't find it from a legit online retailer. And it never hurts to go down to your local shop if you have one and see if they'll put in an order for you.

I want this, but I'm not gonna get sucked into the hype like AMSP. Everyone was pooping their pants trying to get a white and paying for overseas shipping. In the end it wasn't that hard to get in the states. I'm sure Bullmoose and Amoeba will get it. If not, I won't die.

I whined once but that was because i placed an order for the vinyl mystery just fine and my card got charged,  but somehow their system didn't give it a valid confirmation number associated with it so they ended up cancelling it.  But i promise i wouldn't have bitched about what i got it i actually got something!

there are a few copies of both cocteau twins albums on ebay right now. average price around 50 shipped each. I bought it, and am going to sleep in tomorrow 

I don't think the movie is anywhere near as important or popular as the soundtrack. The only reason i even bothered to watch the movie was because of the music and the fact that i knew that soundgarden/AIC/ PJ made appearances in it. I agree with pretty much most people here who have posted talking about what a significant soundtrack this was at the time and really for a few years following it as well. I was 15  years old living in a 5k person town when it came out and was probably still listening to it regularly when i went to college because it was so good.

US shop has the records and the bundle options. Earlier the link was taking me directly to the bundle but it seems fixed now.
