  1. I was working a hellish midnight shift and spent the 1 minute I had while taking a piss to check the thread. I hadn't had a chance to go through the entire checkout process to verify, and quite honestly I (obviously) couldn't believe this album could be had for this cheap. Now that I understand that it's The Truth, I'm elated and will order before I collapse in bed. Thanks a lot for jumping down for my throat for "fighting" with him though. Very helpful.Edit: and thanks to Gippej for the heads up! Sorry for being dense.
  2. You said "for those in the US". Based on your response, I now assume you meant UK. What I'm saying is I find it hard to believe anyone, even the almighty Amazon, will sell and ship a copy of this double LP from the UK to the U.S. for $25 USD when the base price of said double LP in the states is at least that much.
  3. You must've mean $45, right? Or is that for Prime members only?
  4. I pre-ordered from PN and am not too into this. I'll let it go for $14 ppd in the US. It's half orange, half clear light blue with white splatter. PM me if interested. Thanks.
  5. Thanks. I hadn't looked too hard anywhere else yet, as I'm on a vinyl buying moratorium until I see what I get for Xmas. That's helpful to know I can still get it elsewhere though
  6. When it comes to Keith's 2015 output, I find this one to the the most enjoyable. http://www.undergroundhiphop.com/ray-west-kool-keith-a-couples-of-slices/RA45017LP/ He's not playing a time-traveling character. It's just good old shit-talkin' Keith. I was bored by most of Ray West's previous production work (2 EPs with O.C. come to mind), but a lot of it works for me here. He rarely uses snares, which is strange in hip-hop, and sets him apart. Sometimes it's sorely missed but a lot of it is pretty cool. I wish I would've snatched this before it sold out at UGHH.
  7. Yup, my black had paper bits that required a brushing. There were still a couple blips of noise, one per side, but that's probably because I didn't do a good enough job.
  8. I can't stand dude's music, but this is unequivocally great news for the vinyl-buying public. I agree that they'll probably be taking on outside work too, and as another Murder Mitten representer, I'm grateful for him making it happen in Detroit.
  9. I back that debut EP by Muscle & Bone big time. This is another emo band that is criminally slept on. http://wearelions.bandcamp.com/ They have a nice mathy element, which I also really like about that Tommy Boys LP. I'm looking forward to checking out some of the recent recommendations when I get a chance this weekend. Thanks, everybody.
  10. Finally ordered this tonight and was very surprised to see there were copies of the two rarer variants still available. Very happy to have scored a 180g black. MM song is really good but the Prawn song rules.
  11. It took everything my lip muscles had in them to keep the green beans I was just eating from spewing forth all over the table. Excellent work, sir.Edit: I just read the rest of the posts after this. Glad they and the other bands were safe.
  12. Hot damn, that's a killer tracklist. I will definitely pick this up since sadly I don't own any of their records yet. Can't wait to hear "On The Outside" and "Not Your Savior" on my system.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Finally grabbed the Gameday Regulars/Guerilla Monsoon 7".
  14. Thanks for the wonderful news, G. Pneuma is my favorite but I love all their releases in their own respective ways. S/T took the longest to warm up to.
  15. I'm not in love with this either but it beats the crap out of pretty much anything Keith has done since Masters of Illusion way too many years ago. That triple mix CD Total Orgasm from a few months ago was soooooooo bad. I don't know why he fell in love with cheap garbage production, and I gotta give it up to Mello for finally getting him on some boom-bap shit again.
  16. I was just coming in to ask if you'd be touring for this record, so this is great news. I was on vacation when you played Michigan last summer and really regretted having to miss you guys. Hopefully you can book another date here and I can make it this time.
  17. Yeah, I didn't mean to imply they sound like IC, just that I'd think most people who like IC have tastes that might include those bands. I can see how people might have that "boring" opinion of Paper Arms, but I find their music engaging enough.
  18. Song sounds great. Keep up the good work, duder. While we're on the topic of Australia and Poison City Records, I have to believe most people who dig Iron Chic would like Paper Arms or Luca Brasi, or both. The most recent albums by both were more than good enough to warrant the overseas shipping.
  19. Just for clarification, Sergio played bass in Quicksand and, to my knowledge, did not contribute significant vocals (if any) in that band. Now I'm trying to think if there were ever backing vocals in any Quicksand song, and I swear there weren't.
  20. They confirmed this on facebook. They said they will go up this week sometime, and they will notify via social media when that happens.
  21. Small Brown Bike/Cursive split 7" My brother and I own copies and they both sound like utter dog shit. It was only pressed once, on green. Edit: also, great idea and huge thanks for compiling this!
  22. Any word of Premo production again this time? That track was fucking incredible. You might steer some more traffic to this thread if you put "(Wu-Tang side project)" or something in the subject line. This place needs more solid boom-bap to balance out the Drake and fucking Chance The Rapper threads. I may pick this up at some point, but I have a lot of hip-hop to catch up on buying-wise so far this year anyway, especially Kenn Starr, Red Pill, & Joey Bada$$.
