Unfortunately it's an album that wasn't sequenced with vinyl in mind - the initial LP release wasn't even for a number of years after the CD came out if I'm remembering correctly. In order to make it work, you have to make the sides really lopsided or go in and remix some of the fade ins and outs to make the side splits work.

that Lemonheads CD is underrated.  I don't care if he was smoking massive amounts of crack at the time.  "Break Me" is amazing.

I discovered Hum by watching MTV and listening to the radio in 1995. How things have changed...

this Title Fight talk is making me feel old. I was in college when DIH came out - saw them 5 times within 2 weeks during that tour and my hearing hasn't been the same since.

Title Fight sucks. 
 
Hum has had a profound influence on me since I first heard Stars as a wee lad.

Missed out. This would've been a whole hell of a lot easier to order a year ago, before Title Fight decided they liked Hum.

So updated to iTunes 11. Went to sync the iPhone 5 and gave me that same error message again. I've about had it with both iTunes and this fuckin' iPhone 5 that's nothing more than a battery drain. 
 
No to mention that iTunes 11 is awful. It's the Comics Sans of media players now. 

For the way I have my iTunes set up, I absolutely hated 11! I went back to 10.6.3. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I select "do not remind me again," when it asks me to update, it still asks me every single time.

...and I may have just bought a US copy of Primal Scream's 'XTRMNTR' 2xLP for $20 while out grocery shopping.

i'd pick up portrait and smells like children. i'm always on the fence when it comes to liking mechanical animals and holy wood. each of them have a few jams but i can never listen to them front to back without skipping half of the album.

i'm still jealous about that Black Album score. You couldn't find any Catherine Wheel because I'm always grabbing them at Amoeba when I see them. Muahahahaha! j/k

Back from a trip to LA with a fistful of dollars for record spending. Didn't have the good Catherine Wheel luck I usually have when I visit, though my Beautiful South luck continued and I came home plenty happy.
