  1. I just missed the original pressing and haven't seen one for sale in a while. I would love to take this off someone's hands, and if you've got the additional 7" even better. I'm down for a trade or cash deal so take a look at my tradelist and PM if you're interested. https://deadformat.net/collection/bluethumb
  2. I've only ever bought two bootlegs, the first being The Weeknd - House of Balloons because at the time it was the only vinyl release you could buy, and no pressing rumors had surfaced from the XO. More recently I purchased a Japanese "import" of the Lost in Translation OST on blue vinyl. I would agree with a lot of other folks, that you don't have the same sense of authenticity with a bootleg record but if the audio is done well enough that's all that really matters to me. As much as I would like to have purchased the official pressing, paying $35 vs $100 - $300 (crazy eBay price) to have the music on vinyl and be able to spin and share the music is a no-brainer. There are bands for which I would never buy a bootleg because they see no return on that but in some cases it's fine.
  3. I would second the banana plus suggestion. Totally not necessary but I find it to be 100% worth the extra 15mins to add them, and makes any unconnecting/reconnecting in the future faster. I also never fail to fray my wires over time and the banana plus help mitigate that issue.
  4. Damn, to echo others I wish I caught that City of Caterpillar, haven't seen one in years. But killer selection and good prices
  5. So. Much. Yes. This album is hard to tackle at first but after a couple listens I fell in love. Have the original but I can't pass up on those four bonus tracks, and at $21 shipped you can't beat it.
  6. I know these kids, blows my mind they have records up for pre-order that have almost sold out! Killing it.
  7. Interested in the Stay Ahead of the Weather, PM'd
  8. It's not that tough to find, it only took me about two months to track down. Got it on Discogs, and there's one up there now for about $60. That's probably a little more than it's going for these days but still not bad for such a rad record. http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=717082&ev=rb
  9. No I could care less, to be honest my only motivation is to get a pressing number for my collection list. I saw it in Newbury Comics on Sunday for $21 so grabbed it on a whim. Bottom line, it sounds good—that's what counts.
  10. I just picked this up, it's the triple crown pressing but it's clear...all I can find on this says it was limited to 300 black? Anyone have any idea?
  11. Get at that Seaside EP, so psyched to see it pressed. Great early work and unreleased songs from one of the best musicians around.
  12. Sex jamz just aren't the same when they're not on vinyl...
  13. I'm going to buy the shit out of this so keep that in mind when I say, how can anyone honestly think this is their best album? ...Is a Real Boy/...Was a Real Boy is so much better in every way. Also, both albums after this were a joke.
  14. Dammit! Missed out on those sweet Mineral records...the endless search continues.
  15. Really glad I waited so long for this release and now it's apparently shit...Guess I won't even bother picking it up and just look for an OG.
