Old Man Gloom have a new album coming out on Nov 11th called "Ape of God". Profound Lore will issue the CD, SIGE Records will release the vinyl, and Daymare will release the album in Japan. Additionally, there is an Old Man Gloom "Here is a Gift for You" directed by Kenneth Thomas that will be circulating later this fall. You can view a trailer for that here.

OLD MAN GLOOM!!! YES!!!

Finally started Eternal Sonata. Active blocking is tough but fun. The story so far is laregly jrpg melodrama with an interesting twist in relating it to Chopin. The music is mostly really good, but the menu sound design is too twinkly for my taste. It is overall really fun and pretty so far. A lot better than Blue Dragon in many aspects, which I finished recently.
I really want to pick up a ps2 to catch up on a lot of the rpgs I missed out on and replay the .HACK and Grandia series.

I've got all the full length albums and 10"s. I just need to track down orignal Up pressings of Perfect From Now On, Keep it Like a Secret, Live, and a black copy of There's Nothing Wrong With Love. These are ones I'm not actively hunting for, but if I find them for cheap I'll pick them up.

The test pressing in in the upper left corner is for the Helvetia/BtS flexi "Spooky Action at the Sufferbus". I've got every 7" except for two (see below)
 

 
These are my favorites of the 7"s. It's the first single they put out - Car/Girl. The two on the bottom are made from old 12" sleeves and stickers affixed. I just need to find a green and a white copy to complete the 7" collection.

Maybe I'm in the minority but if I can't have an authentic copy then I don't want one at all. I can't stand all that counterfeit shit and wish people would stop buying it so that market would go away. At 32 bucks I'd rather shell out the rest of what it would take to get an original one.

Ryan puts so much effort into these releases. While he presses in some sizeable (but by no means huge) numbers, the prices are very reasonable. Good dude.

What's up with the King Dude on the poster? Also just now realizing that the woman could use a bit higher saturation, and maybe some value curve shifts, to fit in with the rest of the piece. Anyway, nitpicky. Really impatient to hear this album in full.
