Was just browsing on GoHastings right now and noticed that they had an exclusive color (and I'm guessing first pressing as there is no information on Discogs about it) for the album "One-X". I'm sure everybody here doesn't even listen to these guys but for those who are at least somewhat interested, here's a link. It's $19.98 right now.

I ordered a copy just because I'm a fan of radio rock stuff. I wish it was their self-titled but maybe if enough people buy this one, they'll press it. 

Same goes for the 500 Days of Summer OST that UO is selling now. Both have good soundtracks but I'm not gonna spend $30. Plus I looked on Wikipedia and the soundtrack for High Fidelity is almost 65 minutes long. On a single LP. Uh-huh, gonna sound GREEEEEAT.

You are not, as you suggest, "staying in the grey". The fact is, you have an easy time complaining about "the community" when, in fact, the community is made up of hundreds of individuals. Of course, some of those people are going to be annoying or not have much to contribute. But a lot of us do have something to contribute. For years, this guy has gotten away with pulling shit with this community. I (and many others who have confided in me) just don't think he deserves to slide. If this community can't talk about that without being told to "let it go", then it's a shitty community. Plain and simple. 
 
By complaining about the imperfect community you are "moderating", you are effectively defending Ross's actions. You can deny that until the end of the world, but make no mistake, you are helping his mission. 
 
As far as our "end game"... I don't think that's the point. A lot of folks feel burned by Ross. They're going to do what they want to do to feel better. If that means tweeting at him or commenting on his facebook or writing an article in the newspaper, then that's their decision. This board doesn't need to feel responsible. If people want to let other folks know about his shitty business practices and his lawyer buddy, then that's their choice. Some people want to see him go out of business. I think he deserves nothing less. That's not my goal though. My goal is to inform otherwise uninformed people where their money is going so they can make their own decisions.

Found it online last night. I loved parts of it because it was very much my 96-99 teenage life. Still, it was so short and they omitted so many great bands that made T&N the roster to follow!

Not really related but me and my buddy just watched the No New Kinda Story doc and it was the worst tease ever. It's 66 minutes long and ends right around 1996-7 after MxPx signed to A&M. There has to be more!!!

Any screw will due if you want your records to sound like a 128bit MP3, but if you want the best sound, you'll have to be willing to buy a screw of unobtainium. Only then will you have the opportunity to hear every bit of music. Every cleam high and low bass note. Everything will sound more musical. Oh and "what noise floor?" Dead silence when you're not playing anything. It will sound sooooo bad unless you can find and pay for this special audiophile grounding screw.
