Seems to be part of the same reissue series that BF5 is a part of.

I'm so happy all these out of print 90s releases are getting reissued!

Same here man. Some are way too overdue, and this is one of them. Can't wait.

vinylfilmaholic reacted to Eliminator Jr. in Smashing Pumpkins
Adore is the next reissue of the series that turns out pretty awesome. It's a REALLY thick, glossy gatefold, the new artwork is outstanding and the records sound so so good. Unfortunately I can't compare to the OP, but I immediately found the LP to be warmer and much smoother than the CD. I learned to love this album a few months ago, instead of thinking it's really good for a couple years, and this reissue could not make me happier.
Yet I cannot seem to understand how sticking a piece of paper on the back of every reissue that says goodbye as soon as you unwrap it can by anyone be considered as a good idea.

You're going to have to save up your pennies, because generally OPs of Superunknown aren't in the $45 range...sadly...

Here's a "decent" album with horrible artwork:

Thanks for all of your guys' advice. I went ahead and ordered a record doctor from Amazon which should be here in a couple of days. I'm sure it will do the job fine.

It's a good table to start your obsession with records but you may end up upgrading sooner than later, all depending. That's what happened with me and that table.

vinylfilmaholic got a reaction from backpackoat in Jimmy Eat World Vinyl Reissues - Static Prevails, Clarity and Futures
Anybody here get a Clarity poster with their SRC order that they're just going to throw away or not use? I will gladly take it off of your hands and pay for the shipping and envelope to ship in. Reason I ask is because I ordered mine from Bull Moose and got the "Static Prevails" poster, but not the "Clarity". I wasn't expecting SP but now that I have it, I kind of want the other now. PM me if you're interested.

The other copy up is going for $100 already, so chances are it's going to hit that mark. Sucks, man.

vinylfilmaholic reacted to allenh in What's your latest purchase?
I bought one a couple of years ago, I was getting a lot of vinyl coming from overseas and arriving warped and this seemed a better long term option than the cost and aggravation of sending them back. It also helps having my parents living in the US so no international postage charges and a good $ £ rate.
I bought the heating pouch as well and have found it to be a superb thing although now I have it it's like an insurance policy and I haven't had a warped record in ages.
In use after a bit of experimentation I found the times in the instructions were not really long enough so I now leave the record heating over night and then let the whole thing cool while I am at work before I take it out.

It's been said before but I just want to say that Captured Tracks are an awesome label and their customer service is incredible. I had an issue with my Mac DeMarco deluxe Salad Days box and got in touch with Derek who was super helpful and wanted to set things right.
I only needed a replacement box but he went out of his way to find a clear copy of the "Only You" 7" for me and once the package arrived it was filled with Mac posters, pins, a tote bag and a Salad Days cassette! I don't think I've had so much fun opening a parcel in a long time. Coincidentally it arrived on the same days as a colored copy of Rock & Roll Nightclub that I ordered:
