Kanye & Rick Rubin working together? This album is going to be the best thing in the history of everything. EVER!

zuck got a reaction from coryemis in Kanye West -Yeezus
Kanye is such a huge douche, but damnit if he also isn't a musical genius. All these posts have me even more hyped for the new album. I'll buy this shit on 8 track & figure out how to play it in my CD player if I have to.

THIS
Eric--Here's some advice...and I'm being 100% real.
We all get it. You think the world is against you, you don't believe in love, you're depressed, etc. WE ALL GET IT. You don't need to point it out in the majority of your posts in this thread. I'm pretty sure you're reading everyone's responses but the one thing you truly need to understand is that you are only 15 and you really don't understand what real stress/responsibility is.
It rubs a lot of us the wrong way. The majority of us all have real jobs/kids/relationships/etc that we have to worry about outside of this message board. None of us like to get on here and seeing this 15 year old kid CONSTANTLY talk about he is unhappy, will never be in love, blah blah blah. One day, all this will click with you and you'll be embarrassed that you wrote all this shit. About a year ago, I was looking through my old livejournal and Xanga accounts and reading some of the stuff I wrote when I was younger and it is downright laughable and I'm not afraid to admit that. I wish I had floods of people telling me to chill the fuck out with that shit when I was that age.
Please stop begging for attention with your endless floods of posts about the exact same thing

zuck reacted to IanRees in Help! I need your tried and true weightloss solutions
also, one of the worst things you can do and set yourself up for failure is want a "quick fix" it has to be a life style change. you might not see the weightloss as fast as you want but you need to not get discouraged and keep with it.

zuck got a reaction from IanRees in Help! I need your tried and true weightloss solutions
The hardest part for me was changing the way I eat. If you can do that, I think that would solve a huge chunk of the problem. I also didn't want to go to a gym, so I ordered P90X & love it. Even if you don't follow the meal plan that comes with it exactly, but do follow the exercise part, you will definitely lose weight & get into shape. It's a lot of hard work, but totally worth it.

zuck got a reaction from nothingnatural in PO: Evanescence - Fallen 2xLP (Now with 20th Anniversary Expanded Reissue)
To me, the only problem in pre-ordering an Evanescence album is the eventuality of owning an Evanescence album.

zuck reacted to One Hundred Fifty-Two in Nostalgia Test
Here is a checklist to prevent you from becoming a sucker for nostalgia.
Prior to the announcement of the album reissue did you:
- Listen to the album in its entirety within the last year.
- Think to yourself man I really want this record pressed.
- Listen to the newest album by the band in question.
- Go see the band at their latest show in your city.
- Ever tell someone IRL that you are a fan of the band.
- Know if the band was active or not.
If you can't say yes to at least 4 of these then you should reevaluate your decision to purchase the album as you are buying it solely for nostalgia and after the album is played once it will never leave your shelf.

I don't do it or get it but here's the thing about "getting it," if you got it, you'd probably do it yourself.
I don't understanding watching wrestling, watching NASCAR, the joy shooting an animal and hanging it's fucking head on my wall, or being sexually attracted to another man. But it's not for me to get. If I really understood it I'd be inclined to do it. How many people out there think we're nuts for wanting to acquire records and listen to them when there are much easier ways to enjoy music.
Don't stress people getting joy out of doing things you "don't get." If they aren't hurting anyone who cares? And no, someone wanting a record and not getting doesn't count as "hurting." That's a first world problem if I've ever heard one.
