  1. I think that might be right. We're they sealed in the box? They were sealed on the racks. Anyway, if you want to pick up one in lieu of the box, looks like Sonic Boom might be your place, for as long as they last. They are in discogs too, I think.
  2. Is it widely known that these are available individually? The only place I've seen them is at Sonic Boom in Seattle. I haven't seen them advertised or in any other store, Amazon, etc. (I don't even see them on the Sub Pop website). I hoped to eventually get the box, but I'll Take Care of You was the only one I really needed, so I was floored when I was in Seattle recently and saw the individual reissues on the racks. I only picked up I'll Take Care of You, but I think the rest were there too. Maybe this is old news to some, but it wasn't to me.
  3. It's actually "try color" as in "I tried to make it three colors." Just another typo.
  4. The IG comments on his posts suggest these are actually quite popular. For whom, I don't know.
  5. This slipped past my radar, but new solo album from Eric Bachmann via Merge. Sounds more like Crooked Fingers under a different name than something like his (also excellent) previous solo album To the Races. First 250 pre-orders on white vinyl and it's been up for a day or two, but I just tweeted Merge and they say that the white is still available at the moment. www.mergerecords.com/eric-bachmann-eric-bachmann
  6. Dumb. MO/Andy might be able to figure out whose order this is and cancel the order. Weren't they the one who did something similar when people started flipping the Thrice split before they shipped, or am I thinking of someone else?
  7. Following a meager raise and bonus at the end of the year, I'm a bit motivated to cross some long time wants off my list. Let me know if you can help me out. Astra - The Weirding Bad Books - Bad Books Counting Crows - Recovering the Satellites Juliana Hatfield Three - Become What You Are The Hold Steady - Separation Sunday Idlewild - 100 Broken Windows Tom McRae - Tom McRae The Mountain Goats - Come, Come to the Sunset Tree Matt Nathanson - Modern Love Chuck Prophet - Homemade Blood Chuck Prophet - The Hurting Business Seryn - This is Where We Are Matthew Sweet - Altered Beast Richard Thompson - Mirror Blue The Felix Culpa - Ancoro Imparo CD The Felix Culpa - Commitment test press (Probably never gonna happen, but it's my white whale, so I have to give it a shot.)
  8. Looking for several months on eBay and discogs for The Wrens' The Meadowlands, then realizing it was available for $20 at The Wrens' web store.
  9. Got my copy today from the Indie Vinyl Den offer. Got the clear.
  10. Any more reports on sound quality. The less than positive review has me balking right now.
  11. Thanks. Slept on this way too long waiting for the album to click with me.
  12. This is pressing all of my buttons. I picked up the test press, also available through the Burnt Toast site.
  13. Won my league for the first time in three years. Team name: F'ed in the B
  14. Am I crazy for starting West over Forte and then starting Delanie Walker over Forte at the flex?
  15. Forte or West? Then the lesser of Forte/West, Reed, or Hurns at the flex?
  16. I guess I kind of assumed the predicate of the thread was what active bands have just not been able to catch yet. I mean, I would go almost anywhere to see a Gabriel/Rutherford/Hackett/Banks/Collins Genesis lineup, which is technically possible since they are all alive, but pretty assuredly will never happen.
  17. No one came in here to say "I need this vinyl like I've never needed vinyl before"? I am disappoint.
