Big time bummed. Peoples Instinctive Travels is the album where hip-hop clicked for me and remains one of my favorite albums, so I adore that whole crew.

Got my white this week and it's really good. If you liked early Crooked Fingers, I highly recommend it.

I wasn't a big fan of Sermons either, but I started playing it for my three year old daughter and she loves it and loves to dance to it, particularly Getting Ready to Get Down (which she can recognize before the first bar ends) & Cumberland. He has a daughter about my daughter's age and I have to believe his desire to create something his daughter could appreciate on a pure upbeat/dance/fun level influenced the record. There are still some songs I don't like much, but my experience has given me at least an appreciation for what he was going for.

Finally watched the finale last night and, woof, that dialogue, with the highlight/lowlight being Mulder's exclamation "Not a rat's chance in Hell!"
