  1. I doubt anyone here will care much, but I recently picked up a test of O Ye Devastator by Doug Burr for a nice price on the 'Bay.
  2. A brief visit to the local shops over the weekend yielded: Bjork - Vulnicura Bill Fay - Who is the Sender? The Horrible Crowes - Elsie Titus Andronicus - The Airing of Grievances (bootleg edition /500) Manchester Orchestra - HOPE (should have picked this up earlier, but it proved unusually elusive) The Baseball Astrologer - Famine of the Soul (Anyone have this? Looks like a funky release. Came with an old baseball card glued to the back.)
  3. What did you pay for them? I think that gives you a pretty good idea of what they are worth.
  4. According to popsike.com, similar looking copies have sold for $20-80 on Ebay.
  5. Man, I know SRC gets a bunch of shit, but I don't recall them doing anything this ETR-level shady, though admittedly I don't order from them much.
  6. Original masters = tape he made by recording his phone playing the CD though the YouTube app
  7. Since Ear X-Tacy closed, I haven't been too impressed by the record stores in Louisville, though Underground Sounds is OK, and if you go, have dinner at Jack Fry 's around the corner.
  8. Semi-sorry for getting hopes up with the bump, but there's a new CD set of RAGC in the merch shop for those interested, so hopefully a vinyl repress is close. https://rightawaygreatcaptain.bandcamp.com
  9. My favorite live folk album is Live at Montezuma by the chronically underrated Mickey Newbury and fits this description. A couple gems that qualify that are not on vinyl are Living with Ghosts by Patty Griffin, Miles from the Lightning by Jeffery Foucault (my favorite modern folk album), and The Brightness by Anais Mitchell. You should also check out Bad Debt by Hiss Golden Messenger, To the Races by Eric Bachman and any live Townes Van Zandt album.
  10. The old "we found more copies in the back" for an album 20 years old. $75, but still probably half what it would cost you elsewhere. I can't bring myself to do it , but maybe someone else here can. http://artist-stores.com/collections/jay-farrar/products/son-volt-trace-vinyl
  11. Got the rainbow. I actually kind of dig the contrast between the grayscale cover and the rainbow vinyl(s).
  12. Yep. His book painted a pretty unflattering picture of them.
  13. Wife got Decemberists and Okkervil River. No Deja or Bedhead. Pretty much what I expected.
