ronniegwilliams got a reaction from mjglor in Super Troopers 2
Re-watched Beef Fest a couple of weeks ago and was reminded by how not funny it was. I'm really hoping this won't be lame. I still haven't watched Dumb and Dumber To because I've heard too many awful things about it.

Hey, I have a rooster tattoo for my mama, too! Sadly, mine is about a decade old, so it's taken on some fading

He was wandering around the store with this dumbass little notepad, jotting down things that he wanted, I'm sure they were all manufactured by Tripp and consisted of additional straps and chains. He was being incredible arrogant to my staff, so I asked him what his notepad was for, that's when he told me he was in a band, with that said I started talking to him as if Disturbed was just some new local band, saying things like "if you guys ever play a show, you bring us some flyers", or "when you guys make a cd, bring one by the store'. I guess he wasn't very amused by this and called our headquarters to report me.
Last year the singer of Buckcherry came into the skate shop I worked at, so I kept calling him the dude from The Salton Sea and asking him when his next movie was coming out. He thought it was hilarious and did not have me written up.

Get him flowers and carry a copy of his doctoral thesis - he always responds to heartfelt appreciation for his brand of anarchy. The flowers will mask the smell of the brown nose.

Each of them have a ridiculous amount of royalties coming in from their extensive bodies of work, so much so, none of them would need to put out another album for the rest of their lives to live extremely comfortable

So I remember playing Settlers of Catan with some friends awhile back with some friends and really having fun with it. So my question if for those with significant others; I really want something to do after a long day with the lady, that's not watching a movie, but something that would be fun and challenging to us both. Anyone have any ideas as to what games, similar to Settlers of Catan, would be fun between two people?

Here's where I'll chime into this entire mess of a thread- merely to call this dude out. So, my girlfriend is currently in law school; therefore, all we do is hang out with fellow law students, alumni, and professional lawyers of all walks of the legal system. I can say, with the utmost confidence, that anyone carrying a degree in law would possess basic typing and grammatical skills anyone passing Comp II with at least a B- would possess. Maybe you do, in fact, have a law degree; but I'm thinking anyone at that level in life would choke back the urge to threaten a stranger via the vast community that is the internet.

No, I'm not off base. I stated that if the artist is one of your favorites, then I completely understand the use of such a site; however, if it's just you getting a song made for a special occasion, why wouldn't you want to pick up a guitar and do it yourself, when there is so much more sentiment involved with such an act? Or, why wouldn't you want to support a local artist?

No. Just no. If you're a musician using this, then you shouldn't consider yourself a musician. If you're not a musician, and you're just looking for something special for someone, talk to a local artist and work with them. Hell, I'll do whatever it is you're wanting to do for a third of the cost. Unless one of the artist is a favorite of yours, then that does make sense, but almost loses the sentimentality by the fact that you are paying for it.
