When you're a small distro from a foreign country no one is really asking updates from, it's a good idea to offer some sort of value in exchange for promoting your product. If this man or woman had offered discount codes for exclusive content in exchange for promoting the product, I doubt many here would complain. On the other side, when you're a distro or label that already has fans and followers interested in your products, giving heads up on release dates retail prices and album info without offering any extra discounts or friendly messages will be a little better received. Dumping a bunch of order links for albums that no one in particularly is interested in (based on the lack of interaction and comments) is just one-sided and spammy.
