rsersen
oh my bad. so who do we know is playing for sure? -get up kids -silverstein i'd say almost any of these bands are possible... I'll bet money that Rise Against plays. They have a new album scheduled for the fall, and they've been announcing quite a few festivals lately (like Chill on the Hill) in August-September in support of that. Plus they're from Chicago, they won't pass up a chance to be a headliner in front of a home crowd.
smailtronic
TBS, Rise Against and Offspring have played Riot Fest in the last two years. Yeah, RA is from Chicago, but I can't see them going back to past performers that soon.

billya
Didn't they say that there wouldn't be repeats this year, though?
Tardcore
can anybody explain how or why the Offspring can still headline a show let alone a festival? They must have the best agent in the world. Even their "good" album only had a few good songs.

They are good for the casual music fan because they still get regular airplay on "alternative" radio stations.
Brock N Roll
For whatever reason, I've never gone to Riotfest and it's only a two hour drive for me. Hopefully this is the year I actually go
timbrh2001
Danzig sang Misfits songs with Doyle on guitar last year. That's probably about the closest we will ever get to a complete Misfits reunion. I'm cool with that. I was there. As was I the last time the Legacy tour came through Chicago. Doyle has been on record in an interview this year as saying that he's finally given himself the motivation to try and bring Danzig and Jerry together to reunite. Since it would likely require a decent chunk of coin to make this happen, I think Riot Fest is obviously the perfect setting for this to occur. cephcarn4
I would Love to see Big Black Do a proper reunion show not just the 4 song set they did in 2006. Also if they decided to tour with that NirvanaJam that would be cool

And yes, if it does happen, RF would be a great outlet for that to happen. BackAlleyRiot
hairgrowth2001
Cadillac blindside seems to be doing a bit of teasing on their facebook page. I know that they were suppose to play the fest two years ago, so maybe they plan on playing it this year? Would love to see them at riot fest! scottheisel
Twenty One Pilots are all but confirmed for Riot Fest—they just announced their fall tour and play Cleveland on 9/11, then no shows for the next three days.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Are we going to assume most of the Toronto bands are playing chicago? With the exception of maybe the Canadian acts.
