surfingelectrode
So I have an extra copy of the European box set coming in tomorrow that I don't need if anyone would want to buy it. Cost would be $100 + shipping. Just send me a PM if yer interested. Thanks!
dreamover
So Rhino did the US and Warner did the French pressing? Is that right? I got the French and it definitely has GZ etchings.

rpm4
Is anyone that purchased the box set having problems with their copy of "Alive 1997"? I've received my second replacement set from Amazon (the French release, not Rhino) and it appears on each copy of "Alive 1997" as if the pressing was not deep enough. My needle jumps around continuously, and this is even after both the record and stylus have been cleaned. I'm about to get my 3rd replacement box but I'm wondering if others have had this problem or if it is just my bad luck?
tvham
I listened to Alive 1997 today without issue. FWIW, I ordered my copy from Bullmoose.

I had problems like that with my cheap sony player, but I haven't had issues with my AT-LP120
rpm4
what kind of record player do you have? I had problems like that with my cheap sony player, but I haven't had issues with my AT-LP120 I have a Technics SL-1200M3D and an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. So far no problems with any other records so not sure what is up with this one. I'll give it a try on another player to see if it is just mine. Thanks for the reply. timsimmons
Does it happen at certain points? Like when it's particularly bass-y? Cloudsbelow
rpm4
Does it happen at certain points? Like when it's particularly bass-y? I have only noticed it right at the beginning of Side 1. It's been so bad, I haven't even bothered listening any further.

tokimedo
100% worth the $75 price tag on that.
thievedrelic
100% worth the $75 price tag on that. Also, if people are less interested in the box and more interested in the music on vinyl, Amazon.de has both Alive 2007 and Alive 1997 for $21.31 each (at current exchange rate) with free shipping...
