chils123
Just posted on Kung-Fu Records Facebook page. "It's official! THE ATARIS classic line up is back! To celebrate we just might have some special 180 gram and colored vinyl collector additions of The Ataris releases coming soon! How exciting is this?!?!" Brock N Roll
Wait..... if kung fu posted about this, then that wouldn't mean So Long Astoria right? Wasn't that on a major?

omgitsgill
Wait..... if kung fu posted about this, then that wouldn't mean So Long Astoria right? Wasn't that on a major? It was on Columbia if I'm not mistaken.
Troy plays bass
Yeah, this will probably be Blue Skies and End Is Forever. Not a bad thing, but also not So Long Astoria.

TheWindBlower
This would be so awesome. Been wanting So Long, Astoria in my collection for a while now. It is on Columbia though...
Satan
by golly, so long, astoria WAS on columbia. now, this could boggle some minds. wasn't the alleged new ataris album, going to be on p+p? did a pipe just get thrown into the spokes? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
chils123
Well dammit. I thought Astoria was on Kung Fu too. I'm an idiot. I edited the title to reflect this. I just saw how they are advertising that lineup and a tour around it and combined that with my incorrect thought. Well, any reissues by them would be nice.Guess we will wait for more info. Until then, feel free to hate on me for being an idiot and ASSuming.
justin_
Oh man, +1 for Blue Skies!
TheWindBlower
2013 was the 10 year anniversary for So Long Astoria, though. One can have some wishful thinking, can't he?
bluessinger
That tour is stacked. Hopefully it comes close to Nashville.
Satan
"So Long, Astoria" played in its entirety for this tour? Oh sweet mother of mercy.
jonnywreck
I dunno, it is an SLA tour, so maybe we will get a treat? I have so many things to say about this: 1) NOT the "classic" line up (I kind of think of Peña as the OG guitarist), but still awesome. 2) WHERE IS THE FUCKING CD!?!?!?! 3) The last time I saw them, Kris Roe was being just a dick in general, which is the antithesis of the reason I got into this band. Hopefully he's sorted his shit out and is back to the nice, personable dude I remember from even the SLA days.
Satan
oh it most definitely is a SLA tour according to the flyer on their facebook.
cesar11
according to their bandcamp, "So Long, Astoria" was:Kristopher Roe - Vocals, Guitars, Percussion, Moog, MellotronMike Davenport - BassJohn Collura - Guitars, Backing VocalsChris Knapp - Drums so...there ya go. sillybarry
