DecayToDeath
It's like a solid mail day post, except about a whole year's worth of awesome music. I'm jumping on the "fuck yeah 2015" train.

birdwell
I think it's slated for release on October 30.It definitely is.....I get to do the Distro for it. So you're touting it a done deal as one of the best releases of the year before hearing more than one track? For the record after hearing one track of the Tame Impala I was already in the mind set that it was going to be incredible.....and I haven't been more disappointed with an album in years

It'd be difficult to decide what the best of the year is before it's over.
Derek™
Amazing year for vinyl represses and reissues as well. 2015 has been rather spendy for me.
Eliminator Jr.
Amazing year for vinyl represses and reissues as well. 2015 has been rather spendy for me. Regarding represses last year will be hard to top for me. Early Modest Mouse, Mineral, early Jimmy Eat World and what not. But I bought a lot of new releases this year, so that's cool. Bladewillisisdead
Apparently I don't listen to music because what is all this shit? Although "I don't like shit, I don't go outside" is a pretty dope name for an album.

Tyler is okay, but his recent releases haven't touched on his originals.

Bladewillisisdead
I've bought maybe 3 2015 releases (a couple more if you count 7"s). About 3 reissues/represses too.
mappingtheyears
Solid list so far. 2015 has been stacked with great releases. The Butcha
mewithoutYou - Pale Horses TWIABP - Harmlessness Caspian - Dust And Disquiet A few notable represses: Caspian - Tertia (4th press) Caspian - Live At Old South Church (2nd Press Coming Soon) And probably a lot of other things I'm too tired to think of right now. Bladewillisisdead
2015 albums I've bought: Mewithoutyou - Pale Horses Self Defense Family - Heaven is Earth TWIABP - Harmlessness Take One Car - Everyone You Know is Here Right Now Reissues: Pig Destroyer - Prowler in the Yard United Nations - ST Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing Harkonen/These Arms Are Snakes - Like a Virgin (First pressing on vinyl, but it's an old release) Reissue game is pretty strong. Just the Pig Destroyer and Placebo albums alone make 2015 a good year. Can't wait to get them sometime next month hopefully.

birdwell
...what? Seriously, was an early fan of that first record....been onboard with that band for a bit now. This new record is horribly disappointing....I don't need electronic influences on a Tame Impala record (he's got that other project that I'm definitely NOT a fan of for that crap) nor do I need 80's pop intermingled in it. I also laughed when I saw the cover art....past two album covers were fairly decent and seemed to fit the mood of each album....this shit was on my elementary school trapper keeper. "Currents" does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe in a few years it'll grow on me? I highly doubt it. I am still optimistic about a second Melody's Echo Chamber album though
