ExtraFox
Cover versions can be a great way to discover new bands. I first heard of Lucero when I heard their cover of Jawbreaker's Kiss The Bottle. Then there are the ones where the original is horrible and the cover is amazing: And then there are the ones that should be destroyed:

thebilljim
Gonna need a link. Looks like it was the B-side to "I Don't Want To Miss You Anymore" - can't find it on Youtube, but here's a blog that lists the info. http://sophiesfloorboard.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-saddest-landscape.html
TheGhostOfRandySavage
Man Who Sold The World is better as a Nirvana song. Fight me. I disagree, BUT even though I'm really not that into Nirvana, I'd say this is one of my favorite covers of all time. Still not better than Bowie, though. cambionic
With all these Nirvana covers, I can throw in Amigo The Devil's cover of Something In The Way. It's pretty haunting, and sticks with Amigo's sound.
