parkinglot
Not if your in Quebec and/or French like me Haha, I almost mentioned that in my post. I was in French immersion for 8 years. It still looks weird though.
SNEAKORDS
The Canadian economy has killed it for me, I haven't ordered anything in a couple months and with the dollar still falling I probably won't. Things were already inflated price-wise here + bad shipping rates so I would order from the US to a US post box, but now it's going to be like $45-50+ on average for a single LP, probably worse. It's going to be a bad year for buying records (or anything else, really).
dvv
I guess we'll see each other maybe 10-15 years from now on a different vinyl forum after vinyl dies and revives once again
Han Solo
This thread depresses me haha but I agree with the rest of the Canadians. It's a huge bummer
hipsterasfolk
I spent $25 for Desaparecidos - Payola LP (white tour variant) at their show and that was the last vinyl I bought. Shows that are $15+ are a no go as well It's not the price, but the principal! So buy all my crap before I realize that I'm just being a whiny baby

somethingvinyl
think they were always perceived as somewhat cool despite the decline, but they also earned the tag of 'obsolete' with cds and mp3s being introduced. Trust me, when I started buying records in the 90's, it was just as nerdy as anything else.
