Guest falloutcollapse
The list of bands just went up. Holy shit, it is going to be fantastic. Anybody coming to Chicago for it? I'm super excited.
mattstrike
Will be there working at Green Street. Stop by to say hello!
xjustinxschwierx
seen the list, there's like 7 good bands, plan on avoiding it at all costs.
lydiawesome
I haven't been to a Lollapalooza yet, and I wish I hadn't missed Daft Punk when I did want to go. I saw Ben Folds, and I love Chicago, so that's reason enough for me to go. Ok and there are some other bands I like too, plus the biffies may wanna make the trip. dante3000
I was at one of the last traveling versions. Absolute shit fest. It's the same as every other overpriced music fest but there's dickweeds in body paint and shit everywhere. Oh, and a whole area sponsored by Nvida graphics...How progressive! Some good bands but I think Coachella killed me for music festivals like this.

lonesomexloveus
the only bands id be interested in seeing are the decemberists, manchester orchestra, andrew bird and portugal. the man. not worth it, lol.
twelvetwenty
I count thirteen worth checking out. Ofcourse the last Lollapalooza I went to was in '95 when it was still a traveling tour and I have no intention of flying to see them. jhulud
Fitting to have Jane's Addiction...they should be headlining though...BUT...I am hopeful that TOOL is playing...that means we could have a summer tour from them...keeping my fingers crossed. sgoodcore
I never get these huge one day expensive festivals. Seem like unless you're dedicated to seeing all the bands you could have a better experience seeing them one-by-one. If you live in some far-afield place where bands don't come going to the bands makes some sense.
fueledbymike
not a bad list but ssooso expensive
kjg12590
i want to go but my big elaborate plans to go to these festivals alway fail miserably
flicker
best lineup in recent memory. sorry, punk rawkers. but wont be going b/c shits expensive. but i thought about it. if you go and dont spend a ton of time at Perry's, you're missing out. mcm1610
I didn't look at the lineup, but speaking of bad lineups, holy shit, anyone see Warped Tour's? I know people say each year is the worst one ever, but there's no denying this year's is the worst year ever.

tuumi
I bought tickets early expecting a better lineup. Where is the metal? Wasn't expecting a lot of metal but what the hell? Should be named hipsterfest.
sonix
too much money for not enough bands I'd wanna see.
forgeagain
I'd like to see Ben Folds. Not enough to go this fest though. Basically, I don't think there are any bands that are still playing that would get me to go to Lollapalooza now.
thomasofthejames
i'll probably go again just to see tool (plus dan auerbach, fleet foxes and a few others) but the headliners just don't top last year's trifecta of Radiohead, Rage and NIN
electricsnow
I'm hoping to go this year. Mainly because it seems like it would be a really fun time and there are a good amount of bands i'd like to see. Just gotta make some money first
kirbypuckett
This lineup is amazing. Much better than last years. The headliners are a little weaker, but that's the worst part of Lolla IMO. I had a blast last year. I bought early bird tix and booked my hotel/flight on Sunday. STOKED! Club Quarters hotel in the Loop still has some space available, great hotel, stayed at the one on Quacker last year -- this one is a tad closer. whateverrrr
i'm spending my money at Bonnaroo. Even though I live in Chicago, and it would be cheaper to just go to Lollaplooza. I just love Bonnaroo way too much.

kirbypuckett
A little tip of advice that I didn't learn until later and a huge thanks to Justin... USE CHICAGO'S PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION! It's awesome. Cab ride from the airport for 2 people: $45 Train ride to the airport for 2 people: $4 It's insanely easy to sneak stuff into Lolla. I took a book bag a blanket, put some vodka in a water bottle and put it inside the blanket. They never checked!
