I used to see bears every couple days when I was working at the state park. All they want to do is look through your garbage and sleep. Duff Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 is a bear sighting really that rare in ohio for it to make the news. the only time bears make the news here is when they have to shoot one out of a tree with a tranquilizer gun or if someone gets attack by a bear. last week a bear attacked someone here over an Italian sub, that made for a good news segment. goraiders Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 there was a mountain lion in my town and it was a huge deal. my best friend/ neighbor's mom was working in their garden as the police shot the mountain lion from off their fence like 3 feet away from her. aka awesome.
